This year Mental Health Awareness Week is focusing on anxiety to increase people's awareness and understanding. Anxiety is something we can all experience. It can be connected to a job, a relationship, social situations, how we feel about ourselves, or a change in our life.
If we don’t know how to cope with our feelings of anxiety, they can get out of control and stop us from doing the things we need or want to do.

Big Birthday Party Time at Sonning!

What an afternoon of celebrations we had today in Sonning...
Lady Pamela turned 100 today! She had the most amazing cake, lovely flowers and amongst her many cards, a card from King Charles.

As if that wasn't enough for one day, Ken turned 94 today and had a lovely smile for the camera and enjoyed a dance to the mellow sounds of Nick.

Residents made huge congratulations card for King Charles and Queen Camilla and all residents and staff signed them before they were posted to the palace yesterday.

A celebration is nothing without cake, so thank you to the kitchen team for the magnificent cake they baked to share with everyone.
