They will misunderstand you.
No matter how clearly you speak, how gently you love, or how carefully you choose your words — someone will still hear you through the filter of their own wounds. It’s inevitable.
Some will project.
Some will assume.
Some may even take your kindness as weakness — or use it for their own ends.
But don’t let their shadows dim your light.
Don’t let their unhealed pain define your worth.
People can only see you through the lens of their own experiences.
If they haven’t healed, they’ll see you not as you are, but as a reflection of what hurt them.
Let them.
And continue.
Continue with intention.
Know who you are — not in reaction to others, but in quiet alignment with your truth.
Walk with pride, not because the world always understands,
but because you do.
Your light was never meant to be small enough to fit inside someone else’s comfort.
Shine anyway.
