She will be sadly missed by her son Andrew and daughter Susan, her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday 5th March 2025 at Haltemprice Crematorium at 12.30pm.

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday 15th January 2025, aged 85, surrounded by her children and grandchildren.

Devoted wife of the late Trevor and a wonderful mother to Mark, Denise and Rachael, in-laws Katie and Andrew. Maureen delighted in her grandchildren Alex, Lydia, Joseph, Abi, William and Frey and was a loving sister and a friend to many.

Maureen was a devoted Christian and was much loved by both the Church and the wider community in South Cave and beyond. She was incredibly caring and charitable, and gave her love and support freely to many. Maureen was always bursting into song, she had a tune for everything! She was known for her love of hats, colourful clothing and delicious cakes.

Family was everything to Maureen, she will be desperately missed but we take comfort in knowing that she is at peace and reunited with her beloved Trevor.

A celebration of Maureen's life will be held at All Saints Church, South Cave at 1.00pm on Monday 10th February.

Donations may be left if desired to All Saints Church and the RNLI.

Jones Funeral Directors is opening January 2021 at South Cave, 79 Market Place. I have lived in South Cave for nearly 20 years and Julies family for over 100 years in the villages and surrounding areas.

I have been looking for over 10 years for suitable sized premises to support families and now we finally have them.

We now have over 25 years combined experience and all of our team members have a combined experience of 75 years.

Our branch in South Cave will also have the facility to support smaller family funerals due to our in house chapel, these services can be held 7 days a week from 9.00am till 7.00pm along side of our, direct, simple, traditional and bespoke funerals.
