Hazel, of George Buckley Court in South Kirkby, passed away at home on Tuesday 23rd December, aged 69.

A cherished mum of Kelsey who will be missed dearly by all of her family and friends.

Hazel’s funeral service will take place at St Mary’s Church on Monday 26th January at 10.30am. Followed by the committal at Pontefract Crematorium.

Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of Hazel can be made to the ongoing work of St Mary’s Chirch and can be left on the collection plate in the church.

Following the funeral service refreshments will be available at the South Elmsall Brookside.

In Loving Memory of Kerry Louise Oxley-Bryan

Kerry, of Oakwell Road in Kinsley, passed away peacefully at the Prince of Wales Hospice after a short illness, on Sunday 28th December, aged 50.

A cherished daughter and stepdaughter of William and Karen, and the late Carol and the late Barry. Much loved sister of the late Darren. Devoted mum of Billie-Jo, Nirvana, Duane, D'mitri, Cyra, Dakoda, Caylyx and Deniiel. Also, a loving nannan of Calleigh-Gray. Loved and adored by all, she will be dearly missed.

Kerry’s funeral service will take place at Pontefract Crematorium on Tuesday 20th January at 11am.

Family flowers only please. Donations to are welcome in lieu of flowers. A collection box will be placed at the exit of the crematorium.

Ellen Lees Earnshaw (née Beardsell) of Nunns Lane, Featherstone, passed away peacefully at Pinderfields hospital on the 11th of December 2025 aged 95, reunited with her late husband Keith Earnshaw. Beloved mum to Peter, David, Michael and Ashley, cherished grandmother/great grandmother and great friend to many.

Ellen had a great passion for knitting and met many of her friends through family-owned shops in multiple communities called Cosy Knit Wools, teaching others and offering her knitting services. Ellen will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Family would like to request something pink be worn in honour of Ellen by attendees of the funeral service which will be held at Pontefract crematorium on Thursday the 15th of January at 3pm, family flowers only, all donations in lieu for Prince of Wales hospice can be left in the donations box upon exiting the service. Family and friends will be warmly welcomed back to the Kings Croft Hotel, Pontefract for refreshments.

In Loving Memory of Sarah Lesley Utley

Sarah, of Ladybalk Lane in Pontefract, passed away peacefully at the Prince of Wales Hospice on Wednesday 17th December, aged 55.

A cherished mum of Keenan and Leah. Adored grandma of Shane and Lottie. Much loved sister and sister in law of Adrian and Linda. Dear auntie of Rebecca and Andrew. And, a beloved friend to many. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Sarah’s funeral service will take place at Pontefract Crematorium on Monday 12th January at 12.20pm. By request of Sarah, attendees as respectfully requested not to wear black, but to wear bright colours if they can.

Family flowers only please. Donations to the Prince of Wales Hospice, in recognition of the efforts they offered to Sarah and her family, are requested in lieu of flowers. A collection box will be available at the crematorium after the service.

Patrick, of Elm Road in Hemsworth, passed away on the 17th December, aged 77 years. Beloved husband of Karen and a devoted father to Susan, Marie, Joe, Darren, Sarah, Kerri, Patrick, Chade, Becky and Jack, and to the late Linda. A much loved brother to Kate, Christie, and the late Michael, Jerry, Tom, John, Susan, and Margaret. A devoted grandfather to his 18 grandchildren and a cherished great-grandfather to his 4 great-grandchildren. Also a dearly loved father-in-law, godfather, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many.
