Andy, of Hollybush Close in Whitley, passed away peacefully at Doncaster Royal Infirmary on Monday 16th February, aged 49.

A cherished husband of Michelle and much loved dad of Aiden, Bradley, Reece, Mason, Owen, Logan and Blake. Loved and adored by all, he will be missed terribly by all of his family and friends.

Andy’s funeral service will take place at Pontefract Crematorium on Monday 23rd March at 11.40am.

Sue, of Greenside, Havercroft, passed away peacefully on the 18th February, aged 59. Loving wife to Robert. Cherished Mum to Jonathan, Raine and Macauley and Grandmother to Ethan. Dear Sister to Linda, Janet and Paul. Sue was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her.

Sue’s funeral service will take place on Tuesday 17th March at St Luke’s Church in South Elmsall at 15:15.

Denise, a resident of Warde Aldam Nursing Home, passed away peacefully on Sunday 15th February, aged 77.

Reunited with her late husband, Maurice. Cherished mum of Tony and Fay, dear sister of Hazel and Sue, and mother-in-law to Emma. A much loved nana to Joshua, Ellis and Georgia, and great-nana to Amelia, Aaliyah, Skyler, Ella and Albert, as well as a treasured member of her wider family. Loved and adored by all who knew her, she will be dearly missed.

Denise’s funeral service will take place at Pontefract Crematorium on Thursday 12th March at 1pm.

A cherished partner of Fiona. Beloved daughter of Alan and Barbara. Dear sister of Lynn. And sister in law of Brian, Sharon and Mick. Loved by all her nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Tracy was a great friend to many. She will be remembered with love by all who knew her.

In Loving Memory of Jean Mary Vincent.

Jean, resident of China Cottage Care Home, sadly passed away on Wednesday 14th January, aged 83.

Reunited with her late husband Terry. She will be dearly missed by her children; Wendy, Julie and Mark, her grandchildren;
Luke, Tom, Beth and Ashleigh, her great grandchildren; Maya and Indie. As well as all her family and friends.

Jean’s funeral service will take place at North Elmsall Church on Monday 16th February at 10.30am, followed by the committal at Pontefract Crematorium.

Ellen Lees Earnshaw (née Beardsell) of Nunns Lane, Featherstone, passed away peacefully at Pinderfields hospital on the 11th of December 2025 aged 95, reunited with her late husband Keith Earnshaw. Beloved mum to Peter, David, Michael and Ashley, cherished grandmother/great grandmother and great friend to many.

Ellen had a great passion for knitting and met many of her friends through family-owned shops in multiple communities called Cosy Knit Wools, teaching others and offering her knitting services. Ellen will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Family would like to request something pink be worn in honour of Ellen by attendees of the funeral service which will be held at Pontefract crematorium on Thursday the 15th of January at 3pm, family flowers only, all donations in lieu for Prince of Wales hospice can be left in the donations box upon exiting the service. Family and friends will be warmly welcomed back to the Kings Croft Hotel, Pontefract for refreshments.

Sarah, of Ladybalk Lane in Pontefract, passed away peacefully at the Prince of Wales Hospice on Wednesday 17th December, aged 55.

A cherished mum of Keenan and Leah. Adored grandma of Shane and Lottie. Much loved sister and sister in law of Adrian and Linda. Dear auntie of Rebecca and Andrew. And, a beloved friend to many. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Sarah’s funeral service will take place at Pontefract Crematorium on Monday 12th January at 12.20pm. By request of Sarah, attendees as respectfully requested not to wear black, but to wear bright colours if they can.
