As, we draw nearer to the end of another year, our thoughts as always are with our bereaved families facing their first, second, third etc Christmas and New Year period without their treasured loved ones. We all know that It will be difficult at times, remembering the happy memories once spent together and longing for their return. But, if needed we are always on the other end of the phone, on call 24/7, 365. An email, direct message and or always here if you simply need to call in for a tea / coffee and a chat.

May we also take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported our small independent family business and trusted us to look after their loved ones last send off. Also, to thank all involved, who help to make our service possible.

Passed away suddenly on Friday 31st October 2025 aged 74 years.

A loving and devoted husband to Sharon.

Bernie's funeral will take place at The North Devon Crematorium (Rowan Chapel), Barnstaple on Thursday 4th December at 2.15 pm. Followed by a celebration of Bernie's life at The Coaching Inn, Queen Street, South Molton, EX36 3BJ.

For those who are unable to attend the committal please feel free to join Sharon at The Coaching Inn after 4pm.

Family flowers only please, but in acknowledgment to the wonderful care Bernie received during his short time the North Devon Hospice, donations are welcome - please use the link on the Much Loved page.

There will also be a live stream of the service, which will remain available to view afterwards. The link, along with the username and password, can also be found on the Much Loved page.

Dawn and family would like to thank everyone who attended Roy’s service at the North Devon Crematorium, Barnstaple. For the many cards, kind messages and for the donations in Roy’s memory for the Alzheimer’s Society.

This mornings first job was to venture down the Atlantic Highway to St. Olaf’s Church, Poughill, Bude, Cornwall.

Victor, a former resident of Bish Mill, ashes’ were interred into his parent’s burial plot at the Cornish Churchyard.

As it would have been Victor’s birthday today, close family members Angela and Rosie chose to travel down, witness and pay their last respects to his home coming on this sunny morning.

Yesterday, the sun shone over us in all its glory for family and friends to celebrate the life of Linda Reed.

The horse drawn hearse along with the family set off from Witheridge Sport club / football ground and processed through Witheridge to the Church. As Linda was a former resident and carnival queen, it was only right that she arrived in style. Thank you to Camilla (Tiggy) Waterer for the excellent horsemanship displayed.

Along with the beautiful willow coffin, please feel free to view the glorious floral tributes produced by Harriet @ Harriet’s Flower Room.

Once again, thank you to the family for choosing a small independent family business to look after their loved one.

Much loved wife of Mervyn. Loving mum of Della and Jenna. Cherished nan of Tyler, Sonny, Britannia, Darcy and Dulce-Deana. Dearly missed sister of Fred and Terry. Will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Service to take place at Church of St. John the Baptist, Witheridge on Thursday 10th July at 12 noon. Please feel free to wear something pink or purple. The family would like to invite those who attend the service to join them for refreshments at Witheridge Football Club
