Developmental baby class (suitable from birth to pre-walking). Formerly known as Sensory Explorers. Hi I’m Gem, the founder of Lovabelle (2015).

I’m a qualified Infant Massage and Baby Yoga Instructor and have worked in education for many years. I studied child development and have a great insight into babies brain development and the importance of early bonds and attachments with parents and caregivers. I left my job as a Tutor in August 2015 after my maternity leave ended and I made the decision to start up a gorgeous little business called Sensory Explorers. After 8 successful years and thousands of babies through our doors, it was time to expand and share our classes with others. We renamed the business Lovabelle which you now all know and love and now run a s a Franchise. I am so excited to meet all of you and your little ones to pass on my knowledge and share those magical moments with you and your baby. We are a Parent and Baby Group designed to encourage your babies physical and brain development. Babies are born with many sensory pathways in their brains which disappear if they are not reinforced. Lovabelle's carefully selected activities encourage the use of all babies senses (including their vestibular development which will improve balance) reinforcing those sensory pathways and helping little ones to develop and reach key milestones such as sitting, crawling and even talking. Our baby room at Lovabelle HQ is fully equipped with its own sensory area full of developmental equipment and sensory stations for babies to freely explore. The structured activities your baby will be introduced to include music & movement, messy play, action songs, massage / yoga, visual shows and much more fun! I am fully trained in Infant Massage & Baby Yoga, DBS checked, first aid trained and fully insured. Lovabelle is a proud member of The Children’s Activities Association giving you peace of mind that your baby is in the best hands. I hope to hear from you soon

This week our babies are climbing aboard the Polar Express and taking a magical journey straight to the North Pole… where they’ll become the tiniest helpers in Santa’s Toy Workshop!

Expect a festive class full of imaginative play, music, twinkly moments, and the most gorgeous little workshop I’ve spent hours transforming just for you.

Starting 6th January a fabulous 5 week sensory term running until 5th February.

Our first term of 2026 is going to be incredible — something fresh, fun and full of moments you’ll remember as you start the New Year with your little one.

We’ve planned a 5 week themed term packed with some of our most loved sessions including the very popular:

⭐ Baby Rockstars Week
A huge favourite! Help your little one discover those tiny hands and develop rhythm through music and movement. Think tiny tambourines, soft rhythms, and the cutest little rockstar moments

🌙 Space Week
Silvery tones, reflections, sparkles, glowing planets and the calm, dreamy atmosphere of outer space. This one is simply beautiful — a whole world for your little explorer to look up to.

And that’s not all! Each class is designed to support early development while giving you something lovely to look forward to each week.

Our current families have already filled every space — but with a few babies graduating this term, we have a small number of spots becoming available. I’d love you to join us

Winter Wonderland was just beautiful this week ❄️✨
We explored the blues, silvers and whites of winter, soaked up those cosy, magical vibes and felt all the gorgeous textures — soft furs, fluffy snow and gentle twinkling lights.
We even met a snowman along the way, and our tiny ones enjoyed their very first winter messy play… absolutely adorable. We have laughed so much this week in class it’s been one of my favourite classes.

A messy baby is a happy baby and we have had so many happy little faces this week so far.

Baby’s first messy play in winter wonderland class has been so gorgeous to watch. The cutest little penguin ice rink, enjoyed by the most adorable little visitors.
I’m sorry the class wasn’t longer as some of our babies would have stayed for hours! 😂

And what are the benefits of this to your little one….

✨ This week marks the very first week of our Christmas-themed sensory classes… and we’re kicking things off with Winter Wonderland! ❄️✨

The room is transformed, the sparkle is out, and we’re ready for a December filled with festive sensory play, connection, and gorgeous memories for you and your little ones.

Winter Wonderland is nearly here, and it’s the dreamiest way to start our trio of Christmas classes ❄️✨

This week’s class features some winter messy play which is all about giving babies the freedom to explore. From soft, snowy textures to gentle scoops and swirls, it’s designed to strengthen little hands, boost brain connections, and encourage confident, curious play — all inside a magical winter setting.

Just bring baby wipes and a towel; our warm, cosy baby room means vests are perfect for this session.

And don’t worry — messy play is optional and only a small part of the activities we have available. Join in as much or as little as suits your little one. ❄️

Attending the Lovabelle intergenerational class with Nikki from this afternoon was something truly special.

Watching the elderly residents and the babies naturally engage with each other was magical — the way they connected, smiled, reached out, and shared moments without needing any words.

It was the most heartwarming afternoon… a reminder of how powerful these little interactions can be, and how much they mean to both generations.

Grateful to be part of something so beautiful 🥹💜 Thank you so much Nikki you were just amazing xx

Our Story

My name is Gemma and I am the founder of Sensory Explorers. I am a qualified teacher of 7 years and studied child development for 6 years. I have a great insight into babies brain development and the importance of early bonds and attachments with parents and caregivers. I left my job as a Teacher in August 2015 after my maternity leave ended and made the decision to start Sensory Explorers. I attended several baby groups with my son and not only did they help his development, but it gave me the chance to meet other m**s who I remained good friends with. I am so excited to meet all of you parents and your little explorers to pass on my knowledge and share magical moments with you at Sensory Explorers. Sensory Explorers is a Parent and Baby Group designed to encourage your babies physical and brain development. Babies are born with many sensory pathways in their brains which disappear if they are not reinforced. Sensory Explorers select activities in their sessions which encourage use of all of the five senses reinforcing all of your babies sensory pathways and help your little explorers to develop and reach key milestones such as sitting, crawling or even talking. These activities include messy play, music, exercising, sensory domes and much more fun! I hope to hear from you soon
