Northern Cancer Voices are inviting people to join their Patient & Carer Collaborative - a network of people with lived experience of cancer, as a patient, carer, or family member, who want to have their say in how NHS cancer services are shaped. They hold one hour online calls every 6 weeks where members:
• Discuss recent experiences shared with us
• Identify themes and areas for improvement
• Offer feedback that is passed directly to our NHS partners
• Contribute to shaping better cancer services across the region

Northern Cancer Voices is holding an online focus group to better understand the barriers that prevent women from attending their first breast screening appointment.
They want to hear directly from women aged 47–50 who have experienced hesitation, uncertainty, or barriers, so they can develop new, evidence based communications, resources, and campaigns and help increase uptake of this life saving service. See the attached post for more information and how to take part in the online focus group.

We’re hosting a relaxed, virtual group chat with local women to understand how breast screening services can work better for women like you.
