CAN: Community Access Network.

CAN is one of our most unique services we offer. Instead of being stuck in one place, we offer a variety of locations for our members across the north east.

With CAN, we get you out of the house so you can enjoy community based activities, educational/cultural visits, meet new people and establish a healthy routine.

Meet another one of the faces behind PRS, Sam Hughes. Read about what Sam has to say about her journey with PRS below⬇

"I joined PRS back in 2018 after 12 years in retail, starting out as a part-time Admin Assistant. Fast-forward to today and I’m now full-time Admin, keeping our Compliance in check, managing Contracts for our funded training provision, and (fresh from passing my Level 4 Certificate in Education & Training!) stepping into the classroom to teach our fabulous learners whenever needed. 🎓✨

When I’m not at PRS, I’m a busy mam to my little adventurer, Eva. You’ll usually find us hiking in the Lakes, chasing sunrises and sunsets, or exploring somewhere new. Outside of work I love nothing more than making memories with my family and friends at the weekend. 🥂

I absolutely love my job and the wonderful team I work with. Seeing our learners thrive through the training and community activities we provide at PRS makes every day worth it. ❤️

Fun Fact About Me:
I actually studied Criminology at university because younger me was convinced I’d become a forensic specialist or work for the police one day! Life had other plans and now I’m solving compliance mysteries instead, which is basically the same thing… just with fewer fingerprints and far more paperwork."

- Raise Your Voice Hebburn Christmas Choir from 2:30-3pm

You’re Invited! PRS Parent & Carer Coffee Morning☕

A friendly, inclusive drop-in for parents and carers of people with disabilities, neurodivergence, and those facing barriers to inclusion.

Join us tomorrow at 10am–12pm at Hedworthfield Community Association
