📱 Get your cervical screening updates faster with the NHS App!

The NHS App now makes it easier to manage your cervical screenings (smear tests) by sending digital invitations, reminders, and results directly to your phone or tablet.

Here’s how it works:
✅ Invitations: Receive your cervical screening invitation and reminders straight through the NHS App.
✅ Booking: Book your appointment directly in the app—no need to call your GP.
✅ Results: Get your results securely on your device before the letter arrives.

Important info:
📩 If you don’t open the app notification within 72 hours, a paper letter will still be sent. Abnormal results will also continue to be sent by post.
🔔 Make sure you enable notifications in the NHS App so you don’t miss anything.
📞 Prefer not to use the app? You can still book through your GP surgery, some online systems, local sexual health clinics, or walk-in centres.
