Laws Maureen (nee Baker)

It is with a broken heart we announce that Maureen passed away peacefully on Sunday 9th November 2025, aged 90 years.

Loving wife of the late Walter, devoted partner of the late Ronnie, dearly loved mam of Maureen, Jimmy and the late Geoff, loved mam in law of Bob and Karen, adored nan of Lee, Jamie, Adam, Emily, Callum, Eilish, Helen and Jordan, precious little nana of Isabelle, Annabelle, Jacob, Madeleine, Jack, Ayla and Kaiden.

Please meet for funeral service on Thursday 4th December 2025 at 2pm at South Shields Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations if so desired for the Garden Hill Care Home comfort fund where Maureen spent 15 very happy months, all donations may be received at the Crematorium.

You've left us all broken hearted but you have taken a piece of all our hearts with you and we have lots of wonderful memories to cherish. The best mam, nan and little nana in the world.

Nola Youngman (nee Scott)
Hebburn.

Passed away peacefully on the 5th November 2025, aged 92 years at Hebburn Manor Residential care Home.

Adored wife of the late Derek. Beloved mam of Susan and Stephen.
Much loved mother in law to Sharon and the late Art. Adored Granny to Craig, Gemma, Scott and Darren. Devoted Great grandma to all her great grandchildren and Auntie to Annemarie, Frank and Caleb. Much loved by all the extended family. Nola will be greatly missed by all.

Her funeral will take place on Wednesday 3rd December 2025 at St. Johns Church, Hebburn at 2pm followed by a short service at South Shields Crematorium at 2:45pm.

After the service please gather at the Alberta Club, Jarrow to celebrate Nola's life. Family flowers only please. However they will be a donation box at the service in lieu of Cancer Research UK which would be much appreciated.

Norma McKeown (Nee Martin)

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday 11th November 2025, aged 79 years surrounded by her loving husband and children.

Dearly loved wife of Jim, much loved mam and treasured nana. Norma will now be reunited with her mam, dad and Shaun.

Please meet for funeral service on Monday 8th December 2025 at South Shields Crematorium at 11:15am. Family flowers only please. Donations if so desired to RNLI all donations may be received at the Crematorium. After the service all are welcome to the Alberta Social Club to celebrate Norma's life. As a request if possible, please could a poppy be worn.

John Stephen Edward Ford (STEVE)

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of John Stephen Edward Ford who sadly left us on 4th November 2025, aged 68 years.

A very much loved Dad to Leeanne, Chelsea and Candice and father-in-law to Mark, Glyn and Dean.

An adored Grandad to Amber, Codey, Lexi, Lily, Alfie, Lola, Archie, Lyla, Lana, Reggie and Ralphie.

A much loved partner of the late Carol and cherished brother, uncle and friend.

Steve will take his final journey on Friday 28th November 2025 at South Shields Crematorium at 10:30am. Family flowers only please. Donations if so desired to Kidney Research all donations may be received at the Crematorium.

Sadly passed away on the 3rd November 2025, aged 65 years.

Loving husband of Marian. Much loved dad of Craig and Claire. Father -in -law of Rachel and Steven. Adored grandpa of Katie and Llyra.

James will be greatly missed by all his family and many friends.

With a heavy heart we would sadly like to announce the passing of Mark Mcfadyen on 4th November 2025, aged 42 years. Loving son of Tom and Margaret. Father of Thomas. Much loved brother of Ian, Lisa and Thomas. He will be greatly missed by all his loving family and friends and all that knew him.

Please meet for funeral service on Thursday 27th November 2025 at St Aloysius RC Church at 11:30am followed by burial at Hebburn Cemetery at 12:30pm. Family flowers only please. Donations if so desired to Prostate Cancer, all donations may be received at the Church. After the service all are welcome back to the Iona Club, Hebburn to raise a glass for a celebration of Mark's life.

Geoffrey Cookson of Gosforth, Newcastle Upon Tyne, passed away peacefully on 29th October 2025, aged 78 after a short illness in the Royal Victoria Hospital.

Beloved husband to Sandra, father to Christopher & Karen, father-in-law to Sarah & Keith & grandad to our angels Charlie & Carter.

We warmly welcome family & close friends to join us for a celebration of Geoff’s life, a service which will be held at Newcastle West Road Crematorium on the 19th of November at 14:15 pm. Geoff’s family have requested no flowers, donations are being gratefully accepted for The Charlie & Carter Foundation, a charity started in memory of his dearly loved grandsons.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Margaret on 23rd October 2025, aged 81 years. Margaret past away peacefully surrounded by her children Les, Paul & Clare. She will be greatly missed by sisters Jessie and Anne, brother in Law John, Son & Daughters in Law, Dale, Emma & Susan, also grandchildren Karla, Jack & Jake.

Please meet for funeral service at South Shields Crematorium at 10.30am on Friday 14th November 2025. After the service friends and family are welcome back to the Little Haven Hotel to continue the celebration on Margaret's Life.

Loving mother of Carl, devoted partner to Pete and a great friend to many. Angela will be greatly missed by all her loving family and friends and all that knew her.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beautiful little Linda, who sadly passed away peacefully at home on Sunday 26th October 2025, aged 73 years.

Beloved wife to Ronnie adored mam to Mandy, Lawrence, Ronnie and son in law Jason. Dearly loved nana and great nana a very special lady who will be so deeply missed by all who knew her. As a request please wear a little something of pink as it was Linda's favourite colour.
