💚What Inspired Me to Open Elisa’s Zen Den 💚
I’ve always lived to help other people — it’s simply who I am. Helping 50,000 people means more to me than having £50,000 in the bank. Seeing someone walk away feeling lighter, calmer, and more at peace fills me up more than anything else ever could.
Elisa’s Zen Den was born from that passion. It’s my holistic therapy space — a calming sanctuary offering reiki, spiritual and sound healing, along with soothing massages and facials. It’s a place where everyone can come to relax, reset, and feel completely normal just as they are. Life can be overwhelming, and I wanted to create a space where people could reconnect with themselves and find their balance again.
Of course, being me — with my ADHD and all the beautiful chaos that comes with it — I can’t stay zen all the time! I have a fun, creative side that needs to be expressed too. That’s where my new adventure, Beautifully Unhinged, comes in.
🧩The Birth of Beautifully Unhinged🧩
Beautifully Unhinged is all about embracing the chaos and celebrating creativity. It’s my space to let loose and help others do the same — through adult creative workshops, kids’ craft parties, and parent-and-child craft sessions. It’s colourful, messy, fun, and completely unapologetic — a reminder that being a little “unhinged” is actually quite beautiful.
And I’m so excited to share that Beautifully Unhinged will be opening in the next few weeks on Stanhope Road in South Shields! It’s a brand-new space where everyone can come together to create, laugh, and connect — a place where you can be your full, wonderfully imperfect self.
You’ll even be able to drop in after the school run for a cuppa, unwind, and take part in whatever creative activities are happening that day. Some days might be crafts, others mindfulness-based, or simply a cosy chat and community catch-up — because it’s all about connection and slowing down together.
Both spaces reflect different parts of me:
✨ Elisa’s Zen Den — calm, healing, and nurturing.
🎨 Beautifully Unhinged — wild, creative, and joyfully real.
Together, they balance each other perfectly — just like life does
