Just because everyone is talking about a treatment doesn’t mean it belongs on your face.
I see this all the time - a treatment starts trending, or you’ve seen a great before and after on social media, and suddenly it feels like the thing you should be doing too. But faces do not age in the same way, and what works beautifully for one person can be completely wrong for another.
Your bone structure, fat distribution, skin quality, muscle activity and even lifestyle all play a role in what will suit you. A treatment that enhances one face can distort another if it is not chosen for the right reasons. This is how people end up overfilled, unbalanced or disappointed, even when the treatment itself is not the problem.
The better approach is to start with an assessment, not a menu. Look at what your face is actually doing as it ages. Are you losing volume, strength, elasticity or hydration? Are lines coming from muscle movement or skin quality? When you understand the why, the treatment choices become much clearer and far more effective.
Good aesthetic medicine is not about chasing trends. It is about timing, proportion and restraint. The goal is not to look like someone else or to keep up with what is popular, but to support your face so you look fresher, more rested and still completely like yourself.
If you are unsure whether something you have seen online is right for you, that is exactly what a consultation is for. Come in, ask the questions and let us work out what actually makes sense for your face. DM the word “READY” to get started, or tap the link in my bio to get started 💌
