I can’t tell you how many people walk into clinic feeling like they need to say the “right” thing, commit to treatments straight away, or have everything figured out before they even sit down.

There’s often this pressure to sound decisive, to know exactly what you want, or to be ready to move forward immediately. But that’s not how good aesthetics works.

In reality, some of the things you might feel hesitant about saying are exactly what I want to hear. Telling me you’re unsure. That you want to take your time. That you’ve got questions, concerns, or even a budget in mind.

Those things don’t make you difficult; they tell me you’re thinking properly. That you’re not rushing into decisions or chasing quick fixes, but actually want to understand what’s right for your face and your skin long term.

That’s where the best results come from - not from doing everything at once, but from building a plan that feels considered, realistic and aligned with you.

If you’ve ever felt unsure before a consultation, that’s completely normal. You don’t need to have all the answers before you walk in.

Most people assume that when their skin starts to feel thinner, duller, or less resilient, the answer is better skincare or stronger actives.

It’s not. This is where I see a lot of frustration, because you can be doing everything “right” on the surface and still feel like your skin isn’t responding the way it used to.

That shift usually comes down to what’s happening deeper in the skin. Collagen and elastin production slow, hydration isn’t held in the same way, and the skin just doesn’t function as efficiently as it once did.

By delivering a precise combination of amino acids and hyaluronic acid, Sunekos supports collagen and elastin production in a way that improves strength, elasticity, and hydration from within. The result isn’t obvious or overdone, it’s better quality skin that looks smoother, fresher and more resilient over time.

This is why I come back to it again and again, especially when the concern isn’t structure, but overall skin quality.

If you’ve been wondering why your skin feels different and what actually makes a meaningful difference, this will help you understand where treatments like Sunekos fit into a long-term plan 👉🏼

Most people think one treatment will fix everything.

But real skin changes happen when you stop looking for a single solution and start treating the full picture, skin quality, structure and long-term health together.

In this result, nothing looks overdone or obvious.

The skin is clearer, brighter and more even, with subtle structural support that brings everything back into balance. It’s not about changing her face, it’s about helping it function and look better as a whole.

This is what a multimodal approach does, layering the right treatments at the right time so results feel natural, not forced.

Perimenopausal skin is one of the most misunderstood things I see in clinic, and the mistakes people make when trying to manage it are surprisingly consistent.

The hormonal shifts happening during perimenopause change the way your skin behaves at a structural level. Collagen declines, the barrier becomes more reactive, and the approach that worked for your skin in your thirties often stops working almost overnight. Piling on more products or chasing individual lines rarely helps, and sometimes makes things worse.

What actually moves the needle is understanding what's changed and why, then building a plan around that rather than reacting to symptoms one at a time. These are three mistakes worth avoiding 👉

And if you're in perimenopause and want to understand what your skin actually needs right now, DM me the word MORE or tap the link in my bio to book a consultation 💌

There’s a lot of pressure around aesthetics to fix everything, quickly and perfectly.

I think that’s where a lot of people feel disappointed or confused, because even with the best treatments, that’s not how skin works.

My role isn’t to promise perfection or completely change how you look. It’s to guide you, be honest about what’s realistic, and help you make decisions that support your skin long term.

Once you understand what I can do, and just as importantly what I can’t, everything feels clearer and far more manageable.

Are we still doing this in 2026? Because we really shouldn’t be.

The way we approach aesthetics has moved on, but parts of the industry haven’t quite caught up. And you can usually tell. Results start to look disjointed, overworked, or just not quite right for the person.

A lot of it comes down to fundamentals being missed.

Starting with injectables before the skin is in a good place is one of the biggest ones. If your skin isn’t functioning well, nothing you add on top is going to sit or perform as it should. Building skin quality first isn’t an extra step, it’s the starting point.

Then there’s the bigger picture that often gets ignored. Hormones, stress, inflammation, lifestyle - these all influence how your skin behaves. If they’re not part of the conversation, you’re only ever getting a partial result.

There’s also still too much focus on how things look, rather than how they function. Strong, healthy skin behaves differently. It holds hydration, repairs properly, and responds better to treatment. That’s what creates results that actually last.

The mindset around ageing needs a shift as well. It’s not about trying to look like a different version of yourself. It’s about supporting your skin so you continue to look well, balanced, and in keeping with you.

A more modern approach is a lot more considered. It’s individual, evidence-led, and built around the person in the treatment room.

If you want a plan that actually makes sense for your skin, book a consultation via the link in my bio or send me a message, and we’ll go through it properly 💌

If your skin always looks a bit flushed, uneven, or just not as smooth as it used to, it’s rarely just a “skin type” issue.

I see this all the time - people switch products, try stronger actives, exfoliate more, and still feel like nothing’s really improving, because the problem usually isn’t on the surface.

Redness and texture are often linked, and they need a more considered approach than just adding another product into your routine.

Once you understand what’s actually driving it, everything starts to make a lot more sense.

If you want help simplifying your routine and choosing the right treatments for your skin, DM the word “SKIN” and I’ll be happy to walk you through the options, or click the link in my bio to book a consultation 🔗
