Massage has its place.
So does rehab.

But the most important part of the first session?
Understanding you as a person.

Once that’s clear, everything else actually works.

👉 If you’re in Rugby and want a proper starting point, Sam is now seeing clients at our Rugby clinic - book in and we’ll take it from there. (Link to book in our bio)

Why Origin Physio? 🤷‍♂️

Honestly? Because people deserve better physio.

The kind that helps you understand your body, get better properly, and not keep coming back with the same issue.

Simple idea. Big difference.

We’re excited to say Origin Physio is opening a new clinic in Rugby - led day to day by Sam, one of our Senior Physiotherapists. 📢

You’ll find us based at Fitness Worx, 9 Cottage Leap, Rugby, CV21 3XP

Sam’s approach is exactly what Origin is built on:
high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy, delivered in a way that’s personal, clear, and grounded in understanding the person, not just the problem.

Whether you’re dealing with pain, recovering from injury, or trying to stay strong and active for the long run - Rugby now has an Origin base.

Same standards.
Same approach.
Now in Rugby. 🙌

🔥 DOMS isn’t a problem. It’s just your body saying, 'That was new.' Not broken. Not inflamed. Just adapting.

A bit of next-day soreness is normal, especially when you train close to fatigue. That’s often where you get the most bang for your buck, particularly early on when building strength.

But if you’re wiped out for days or sore after every session, it’s not a sign you’re working harder. It’s a sign your training load or structure needs a tweak.

Hard training isn’t the goal. Smart training is.
Push with purpose.
Recover properly.
Let consistency do the real work.

Need help getting the balance right? Give us a shout.

That's it, that's the whole post.

But seriously, if you feel like you're losing a bit of momentum, you're not on your own. January can feel (literally) neverending.

Turkey and tinsel's a distant memory, payday is far too far away for comfort and if you're just feeling a bit 'bleurgh', it's totally normal.

But deep in that feeling is exactly where we get disillusioned and veer off the path.

Trust the process, keep going, you've got this 💪

Our services at Origin Physio 👇

At our core, we’re a physiotherapy clinic focused on understanding why pain or injury keeps showing up, and helping you move better long term.

We support people with:
• Physiotherapy (our core hub for assessment, diagnosis and planning)
• Back, neck & joint pain
• Post-operative rehabilitation
• Sports injuries
• Sports physio & performance for everyday active people

Whether you’re dealing with ongoing pain, recovering from surgery, or trying to get back to training without constant setbacks, our approach is the same: clear explanations, honest advice, and a plan that actually fits your life.

No quick fixes.
No cookie-cutter plans.
Just evidence-based physiotherapy focused on long-term results.

Back to what matters.
Forward to what’s possible. 💪

Good physiotherapy should leave you clearer than when you arrived - not Googling things in the car park.

You should know:
✅ What’s happening
✅ Why it’s happening
✅ What you need to do next

That’s not “extra”.
That’s just good physio.

Physiotherapy shouldn’t feel rushed, confusing, or like you’re guessing what happens next.

At Origin Physio, we focus on:

🧠 Understanding why you’re in pain
🔧 Fixing the root cause
💪 Building strength and confidence that actually lasts

No gimmicks.
No forever plans.
Just proper physio, done properly.

(Yep, that should be the standard. Somehow it isn’t.)

Rehab is a process.
Not a one-hit wonder.

If you jump straight from basic rehab to full sport, you’re skipping rungs on a ladder - and heading for a setback.

Whether you’re a weekend warrior or a pro athlete, the return to performance has steps:

➡️ Mobility & stability
➡️ Strength
➡️ Power & plyometrics
➡️ Sport-specific movement

Miss a step? You don’t just risk re-injury, you risk never fully recovering.

It’s not glamorous. It’s not fast.
But it works.
