We’re sorry to share that there has been a further break-in at our Marchwood surgery site.
This is now the third such incident, and on this occasion a significant amount of damage has been caused to the building. The site is not in clinical use and remains securely boarded; however, these repeated acts of vandalism are extremely frustrating and unacceptable.
We want to reassure patients that no services are provided from this site and there has been no impact on patient care.
We are working closely with the police and will be taking further steps to strengthen security at the premises. Regular checks of the building are ongoing.
We would urge anyone who has seen suspicious activity in the area, particularly around the surgery, to report it to the police quoting incident number 44260183426.
Those responsible should be in no doubt that this matter is being treated seriously, and we will fully support efforts to identify and pursue those involved.
We also ask local residents to remain vigilant and report any concerns promptly—your support is important in helping prevent further incidents.
Thank you for your continued support.

Please be aware that from 16th February for approx. 2 weeks, due to road closures at the Dibden Purlieu Roundabout, access to the practice will not be possible via this route. Please follow the diversion provided or use alternative routes and allow extra time for your journey.
See post below for further information.

From 16 February for a duration of approximately two weeks, SGN contractors will be replacing a short section of gas pipe on the junction of Beaulieu Road in Dibden Purlieu. We will be replacing a section of old metal pipe with new plastic pipe on Beaulieu Road at its junction with Hythe bypass, these essential works will ensure we can maintain a safe and efficient gas supply to the community and avoid gas leaks in the future.

Due to the location of the gas pipes in the road, for everyone’s safety we will need to close Beaulieu Road at the junction of Hythe bypass, map below shows location of the work.

This closure will mean:

• No through vehicle access in or out of Beaulieu Road to Hythe bypass – a signed diversion route will be in place
• Vehicle access to properties located within the closure will be maintained – our site team will keep those residents affected of access arrangements
• Pedestrian and cycle access will be maintained through the closure
• Bus routes will be affected – please contact your service provider for the latest update regarding the closure
• Bin collection days will remain unaffected unless you hear otherwise from your service provider

We understand how disruptive road closures are for the community; please can we assure you our engineers will be working as quickly and as safely as possible to complete these works.

Further works planned for Beaulieu Road/North Road requiring traffic lights and road closures.

These essential works are an initial part of a larger scheme to replace the remainder of gas mains along Beaulieu Road and North Road; we will provide further updates regarding these works as soon as final details are confirmed.

If you need to speak to us about these works, you can contact our Customer Service Team by email Customer@sgn.co.uk or alternatively you can call them on 0800 912 1700, they will direct your enquiry to one of the team for response.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
