Today, we're all coming together to celebrate World Mental Health Day! This year's theme is "Mental health is a universal human right," and it's a chance for us to raise awareness about mental health, challenge stigma, and make sure that everyone has access to the support they need to thrive.
Mental health is just as important as physical health, and it's something that we all need to talk about more openly. So this World Mental Health Day, let's all make a commitment to taking care of our mental health and supporting each other.

As part of our consultation on our draft Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Strategy, we're holding a Q&A session via Zoom on Wednesday 18 October, from 6-7.30pm to discuss how we can best support our SEND children and young people and we’d like as many people as possible to take part.

The Strategy is a plan for the next 5 years, to make sure we’re giving children with SEND the support, adjustments and interventions they need. We’d like to hear from as many people as possible so we know we’re taking the right action or to highlight anything we’ve missed.

Self love is so important. When I am feeling overwhelmed I will run myself a bath and read my book. It helps me to shut off from every day life and expectations we have like packing clothes away, tidying and replying to emails.
