Hi, I'm Soonyiu and I'll be HELM's Secretary this year, which means I'll be doing the admin jobs behind the scenes. I joined the HELM committee last year as event coordinator and really enjoyed the range of activities we organised as a group, so I'm excited to get involved again this year and work with a lovely bunch of people!

Hi, I’m Juliette and I’m really excited to be president of HELMS this year. As a committee we’ve got loads of ideas lined up for what looks to be a super interesting year of events and discussions about topical ethical and legal issues in medicine relevant to us as students and equipping us to be FY1s. I am particularly interested in our how our emotional responses to ethical dilemmas influence our decisions, and I am keen to create a space for lots of discussion!
Fun fact: I once queued for a pizza behind Miranda Hart!

Hello! We are so excited for another year of HELMS and are looking forward to loads of events and opportunities in Humanities, Ethics and the Law in Medicine this year.
