busy day in the workshop today !

one of the jobs we’ve got in at the moment is a lovely 3008 in for a timing belt, we advised the customer it was due because of age and mileage🚗

OEM quality parts supplied and fitted and back to the customer same day🔥🧑‍🔧

Congratulations to Calshot RNLI volunteer Andy, on passing out as our latest navigator on our ILB lifeboats!

The navigator passout is a culmination of many months of hard training and assessments, both afloat and in the classroom, with the passout putting all of Andy’s training and work into practice.

Coastal Trainer Ruth went afloat to assess Andy carrying out various SAR related search patterns and scenarios, demonstrating his knowledge and theory using both electronic and paper charts, as well as advanced radar use for safe navigation.

To top off the cold and windy morning, the crew also picked up a kite surfer struggling to get back to the shore, so stopped and helped return both the kitesurfer and their kit back to the shoreline, bringing this years shout count to 6 so far.

As always, a big thanks to all the volunteer crew, both afloat and on shore for mucking in to help with the assessments, ensuring the boats and crew are able to go afloat. Big thanks also to all the helms for their efforts in training, ensuring the crew are at the standard required ready for passout - a big team effort!

‼️WETBELTS‼️

It’s very important preventative maintenance is done on these oil soaked belts in order to keep them from deteriorating and causing total engine failure.

This customer booked his in with us after we advised it was due because of age and mileage.

Upon inspection we found that the wetbelt was actually in good condition.

It makes sense when we see the service booked has been stamped every year👍

Prevention is always cheaper than the cure and now the customer has the peace of mind their belt is brand new 🚗

We can replace a range of wetbelt’s, for a free no obligation quote, call our office ❗️

Yewtree Fawley currently have a position available for a Technician / MOT Tester 🚘👀

Hours are as follows -
Monday - Thursday : 8am - 5pm
Friday : 8am - 4pm
A nice early start to the weekend ‼️

What we are looking for :
Must be fully qualified
Must have own transport and tools
MOT license preferred but potential to train towards
Must have experience working on range of Cars and LGV’s
Enthusiastic and keen 👊

Salary is negotiable
