Patient & Family Support Hub The Patient and Family Support Hub is a volunteer service based at the University Hospital Southampton (UK).

We offer support to any UHS-registered patient, their families and carers, with a variety of different services provided by a volunteer team.

Last week Katherine who attends the Bereavement and Beyond group hosted in our Hub by the Bereavement and Family Support Team very kindly donated a Christmas tree and an incredible amount of toys in memory of her son Benji. 📢 This winter the UHS clothes bank for patients needs your support 🧥👖

Our linen cupboard is bare. We use it to provide clothing to patients who don’t have clean, warm clothes to go home in.

There are many people who really value and appreciate the kind donation of some loose-fitting clothing to go home in and we want our patients leave hospital wrapped up over winter.

We can only provide this support with the help of the local community, and through your generous donations.

👉 What to donate:
✔️ Jumpers
✔️ T-shirts
✔️ Trousers
✔️ Shorts
✔️ Skirts
✔️ Jogging bottoms

🚫 What not to donate:
❌ Underwear
❌ Shoes
❌ Coats
❌ Sequined or sparkly tops

Donated items need to be adult clothing, which is clean and in good condition 🧼👍

Where to donate:
The UHS Patient and Family Support Hub, B Level East Wing (near the Eye Unit), open 09:30am - 4pm Monday - Friday (excluding bank holidays).

Or drop off at our community partner: Adjustamatic Beds, 280 Wi******er Road, SO16 6TQ. Open Monday to Saturday, 9:30am–5:30pm
