Indroducing your Doctor, Dr Claire Balysz.

“I have been a GP for 15 years and have considerable experience in all areas of general practice. Over this time, I have developed an interest in management of the menopause and chronic diseases such as pre-diabetes, high blood pressure and fatigue, using lifestyle modification and prescribed treatments. I have a Certificate in the Principles and practice of menopause care.

I truly believe that looking at the bigger picture of a patients health often leads us to the root of the problem.

I am also passionate about eliminating the stigma associated with certain conditions. My goal is to create a safe space where patients can openly discuss their concerns and be truly heard, without judgment. Pear Tree Health has been specifically designed with this vision in mind, for my patients to feel heard and help find the root of their problem.

I also have a particular interest in mental health and have worked in forensic medicine at the sexual assault referral centres in Dorset and Hampshire.

I am a GP partner at St Mary’s, Telephone House and Mulberry Surgeries, therefore I can’t see any patients that are registered with this practice.
