As part of our welcoming and collaborative team, you will lead Mat-based classes, taking over existing schedules:

Wednesday: 9:15 am, 10:15 am, and 6:00 pm
Friday: 9:15 am

Opportunities for 1:1 sessions on Wednesdays or Fridays are also available.

Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role for a Traditional Chinese Acupuncturist at The Totalcare Clinic located in Botley. The Acupuncturist will be responsible for performing acupuncture treatments, moxibustion therapy, Gue Sha and prescribing herbal remedies to patients.

Qualifications

Experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture, and Moxibustion.
Strong understanding of Oriental Medicine principles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

UNRAVELING THE ROOTS OF BACK AND NECK PAIN 🤔🦴

Back and neck pain, affecting people of all ages, can stem from various causes. Here's a breakdown:

Mechanical Causes:

1️⃣ Muscle Strain/Spasm: Often from overuse, poor posture, or heavy lifting.
2️⃣ Herniated Disc: When the inner part of a spinal disc protrudes, causing nerve pressure.
3️⃣ Osteoarthritis: A degenerative joint disease leading to pain, stiffness, and reduced mobility.
4️⃣ Spinal Stenosis: Narrowing of the spinal canal, pressuring nerves, resulting in pain and weakness.
5️⃣ Trauma: Injuries from accidents impacting bones, muscles, ligaments, and nerves.

Non-mechanical Causes:
