Tenease

Tenease Tennis elbow treatment using shockwave therapy to speed healing and reduce pain. Recommended by man Mr Vhadra graduated in medicine from the St. Mr.

Tenease was developed by Mr Ranjan Vhadra, an orthopaedic surgeon operating in Guernsey, Channel Islands. Bartholomew’s Medical School in London. He is a practicing consultant orthopaedic surgeon and is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and an International member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Over the last seven years, when not operating or lecturing surgeons around the world, Mr Vhadra has been working on his treatment Tenease in the hope of bringing some relief to the millions of sufferers of Tennis Elbow. Tenease has evolved from research Mr. Vhadra carried out as a trainee Surgeon. Vibration therapy has been available for many years with much research published in the medical literature on its effectiveness. However, the treatment required large and expensive machines which meant the therapy was only available in hospital. Vhadra and his team of engineers have been able to miniaturise the electronics. Tenease is now a portable, easy to use, safe and effective treatment that many tennis elbow sufferers have found invaluable. For many patients Tenease allows relief of their painful condition without having to take drugs. It can even prevent the need for surgery. Tenease is patented, trademarked and has successfully bought relief to thousands of sufferers.

Tenease has definitely helped keep my tennis elbow in check. I’ve used it everyday for about 3 weeks now and it’s allowing me to get on with my life far more than just the ice and pain killers!!

Had this a few weeks now and would say it does ease the pain to a degree.
My main negatives with the device are that having a single strap means it doesn't stay in position and starts to rotate away; also the plastic ring that holds the velcro band twists round causing the band to bunch up at the narrow ends.

Symptoms have improved significantly after only one week. I've had the injury for about 5 months.
However, the strap is too big for my arm so have used the device to massage the tendon area and believe this has probably speeded up the recovery.
Having studied physiotherapy many years ago, frictions were used on tennis elbow. The Tenease is far more comfortable than frictions and so the likelihood of using it regularly for me will increase and hence a successful recovery should be much higher.
Have recommended it to my friend who also has a tennis elbow.
