Day 33 of 1 extra press up per day.

Officially beat 32 press ups! A 6 day (unintentional) rest which made it feel much easier but still got the gains from before!

Winning!

This demonstrates the SAID Principle:

Specific Adaptation to Imposed Demand. I.e. practice makes potential, consistency beats motivation.

Day 31 of 1 extra press up per day.

Having a day or two off here and there isn't going to knock your progression significantly.

I'm enjoying my holiday so this currently isn't my priority but trying to continue it where I can.

But feeling good having had a bit time to recovery between press up days.

P.S. hope the back drop is a bit more interesting than my last post!

Day 30 of 1 extra press up per day.

I've missed a couple of days as I've been travelling and getting to Dubai to see a good old friend.

So... priorities change.

And then I found a bit of time to do this. Felt easier to do the 30 with a couple of days break. Despite a few glasses... 🍷

Day 29 of 1 extra press up per day.

See you out there! 🛫

Day 28 of 1 extra press up per day.

Had a weekend spending it with family with with a young neice and nephew and 2 dogs that was exhausting enough!

We keep going...

Day 27 of 1 extra press up per day.

Doing 32 in one go is feeling harder and harder!

Day 25 of 1 extra press up per day.

So its getting difficult!

I may need to break things up a little. But doing an exercise, albeit small increases, is tough on top of a usual day.

Perhaps doing these things at the end of the day, when I'm most depleted is a bad strategy, let's see if doing it at a more reasonable time of day helps...

Day 23 of 1 extra press up per day.

Aiming to beat 32 in a row.

Well after doing over 3 weeks of press ups almost every day, I'm starting to feel it... or maybe its that and the 21.1km I ran yesterday!

But building in rest days are important and that may need to be factored in so I can keep working at a continued higher rate.

Sensible no?
