Hamble Heights care home in Fareham, Southampton, was purpose-built in 2013 with modern facilities and a homely warmth. Hamble Heights has a delightful community of 60 residences. Our first class care extends from wonderful staff and fantastic facilities, with an ensuite bathroom in every room; to the very smallest of details, such as movement-triggered lights in the bathroom, touch lamps next to every bed, and a choice of nutritional meals every day – making life as comfortable and homely for residents as we can.

Kiddi Caru recently began their journey with the charity called Embracing Age Hampshire to develop intergenerational relationships with the local residence through making cards and visiting Hamble Heights Care Home.

Kiddi Caru Day Nursery and Preschool in Whiteley recently visited us with their Boogie Mites.

What is Boogie Mites????
Its an Intergenerational Music 🎶 and Movement. It uses music🎼activities from Boogie Mites Minis💃 whilst engaging with our residents. So far Hamble Heights have hosted two sessions and its been very successful and beneficial to the children and residents, so we are planning more. 😃🙌👍🌟🩷🩵

A very big thank you 🙏 to Aled and Jennifer 🎤 who entertained us today. Our residents remembered today from crafting poppies, singing, reflection time, poems and observed the 2 minutes silence 🤫 at 11:00. What a wonderful way to remember what these men, women and animals did for our country. 👏🪖🐎🐦🎼📯💙🩷❤️🇬🇧

In appreciation for the Great 👍 British 🇬🇧 bake off Final we made fairy cakes 🧁
Chocolate 🍫, cherry 🍒 & coconut 🥥 flavoured. We shared them with our residents at afternoon tea ☕️. The only problem was we ate them all before I had a chance to take any pictures 😂
