Hamble Heights care home in Fareham, Southampton, was purpose-built in 2013 with modern facilities and a homely warmth. Hamble Heights has a delightful community of 60 residences. Our first class care extends from wonderful staff and fantastic facilities, with an ensuite bathroom in every room; to the very smallest of details, such as movement-triggered lights in the bathroom, touch lamps next to every bed, and a choice of nutritional meals every day – making life as comfortable and homely for residents as we can.

Bon Voyage 🛫 Club went to China 🇨🇳 to celebrate Chinese 🇨🇳 New Year, Year of the Horse 🐴.
We started with a virtual walk 🚶‍♀️ along the Great Wall Of China 🇨🇳 then we joined in the the New Year celebrating 🥳 at the carnival 🎡 🎪.
Then later we enjoyed a Chinese 🇨🇳 feast. Thank you Bon Voyage 🛫 for another great 👍 country to learn and share stories about.

☔ February 10 – National Umbrella ☂️ Day! We celebrated the humble umbrella 🌂– a practical tool that shields us from rain 🌧️ , sun 🌞 , and bad hair days. We decorated 🎨 bug our own designs on our very own umbrellas 🌂

We were lucky enough to have some beautiful birds 🦅 of prey come visit us. It was a calm, respectful, and personal way for our residents to enjoy these birds. Residents enjoyed conversation while learning about the birds 🦅🦇🦉’ personalities and natural behavior. Such a gentle sensory 🫳👀👃🗣️ experience and perfect for promoting wellbeing and engagement.

Last week we celebrated National Chopstick🍜 day. The aim of the game was to move as many sweets 🍬🥢as you could from one bowl 🥣 to another bowl 🥣using chopsticks only. So much fun🤩 and laughter 😂 and actually they all done well.
