Eric is a true pioneer of living an active lifestyle. Now in his 70th year on this planet, he’s been surfing for well over 50 years. In fact, it was only in recent years that Eric retired from competing. As well as his love of surfing he can also be found skiing and snowboarding. He’s also been known to climb the odd mountain or two including but not limited to the Himalayas.

Obviously, the constant crusade for such an active lifestyle will put a strain on your joints and bones. Over the last 10 years Eric, in his own words, says he has become “creaky”. But this does not stop him, it makes him more determined to carry on with the active lifestyle he so enjoys.

One of the key factors for Eric was his discovery of Glucosamine and other supplements including Omega 3, Turmeric and CBD. He now refers to Glucosamine as his WD-40 for joints, he states that without his WD-40 he would have to retire from the sports he loves so much.

We asked Eric if he had any advice on keeping mobile in your later years. “Stretch, stretch and stretch and keep moving otherwise you will seize up.
