A few Pictures from our walk last week 🚶‍♀️ 🚶‍♂️
Once again we were lucky with the weather although pretty wet and muddy under foot.
We enjoyed around a 4 mile walk which started at Dibden Enclosure car park.

Join us tomorrow, Friday the 16th of January for our 2nd walk of the month 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️

Tomorrow's walk will be approximately 4️⃣ miles and we will be meeting at Dibden Enclosure car park at 12pm, look out for our Patient champion walk leaders 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

Although the weather isn't looking too bad tomorrow, wet weather clothes and footwear are recommended 🥾👢

We have 2 monthly walks, on the 1st and and 3rd Friday of each month both at 12pm.

🚍The Waterside Health bus is on it's way🚍

We are delighted to announce that the Waterside Health bus is now with the conversion company to be fitted out, ready for a planned launch in Spring 2026.
This exciting new service will bring high quality NHS health and wellbeing support directly into our local communities, making care easier to access for everyone.
The Health bus will travel to convenient, familiar locations across the Waterside, offering free, preventative services such as:
💙 NHS Health checks to help people understand their health risks.
💙 Blood pressure checks and early identification of cardiovascular disease.
💙 Practical lifestyle advice, including support with physical activity, healthy eating and stopping smoking.
💙 personalised wellbeing and mental health support, tailored to individual needs.
💙 Clear advice and signposting into further NHS and community services when needed

By taking services out into the community, the Waterside Health Bus will help us to engage with people who may not always access traditional health care settings. This means we can spot early warning signs sooner, offer timely support, and help prevent long term health problems before they develop.

This initiative has been made possible thanks to a generous £45,000 donation from ExxonMobil Fawley, supporting our shared commitment to accessible, preventative and patient centred care for local residents.

We're really looking forward to working with community partners and meeting residents on board as we prepare for launch. Keep following us for updates as we get closer to Spring 2026!

📣 Our next Patient Champion walk is this Friday the 19th of December📣
Join us for our last walk of the year in BROCKENHURST, meeting at Tilery Road car park off of Balmer Lawn Road at 12pm.
The walk will last around 2 hours and is between 3-4km. 🚶‍♀️ 🚶‍♂️
The team will also get together in the Snake catchers pub in Brockenhurst for a Christmas drink after the walk should you like to join them 🎄🎅

Tomorrow Friday the 5th of December will be our next Patient Champion walk, meet us at Dibden Enclosure car park at 12pm, it will probably be a little damp out there so wellies maybe the choice of footwear for the day 🌦☔️🥾 but we will be there, so come along and join us for a beautiful walk and welcoming chat 😀
