📣 UPDATE ON OUR WALKING GROUP📣

Due to recent car parking charges our 1st Friday of the month walk that would normally start at Dibden Enclosure will now always start at 📍THE ROYAL BRITISH LEGION CAR PARK IN BLACKFIELD. 📍
We will still meet at 12pm and will walk for around an hour at a steady pace.
So come along and join us this Friday the 1st of May at The Royal British Legion in Blackfield at 12pm 🚶‍♀️ 🚶‍♂️

A few lovely pictures from our Patient Champion longer walk that takes place on the 3rd Friday of each month. The team met at the Royal British Legion at Blackfield and walked for around 2.5 hours. Great attendance too with 20 people joining the walk 🚶‍♀️ 🚶‍♂️

Hi everyone!
Our next Patient Champion walk is on Friday the 17th of April.
We will meet at midday at the Royal British Legion car park on Exbury Road, Blackfield, SO45 1XD.
The walk will be approx. 4.5 miles and will be led by Mel Thorndyke.
Please join us and enjoy a lovely walk with a welcoming and friendly group! 🚶🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

📢 WE HAVE A NEW GROUP STARTING 📢
Come along and join our
📸 PHOTOGRAPHY GROUP 📸
We are excited to announce the start of a new photography group run by some of our Patient Champion team 😀
The group will meet twice a month, starting on the last Monday of April, the 27th from 10.30am-12.30pm at Ashlett Creek for an outdoor photo session followed by an indoor session on the 2nd Monday of each month to learn how to edit and improve your images and make the most of your camera or smartphone.
So whether you are an experienced photographer or wanting to start a new hobbie and learn from others, come along and join us either with your camera or smart phone. Get in touch to sign up to a monthly Newsletter too 😀📸 donna.best6@nhs.net

Some of our wonderful Patient Champion volunteers have started a gardening group and are working hard to improve the gardens at Blackfield Medical centre, helping to create a more welcoming and accessible space for both staff and patients to enjoy 😀
They are currently clearing and developing a shady area of the garden and are looking for donations of shade loving plants to help bring the space to life 🌱

The walk is around 4 miles and will take approximately 2.5 hours
The weather is looking good 🌞 so why not join the walk, meet our team and enjoy a beautiful walk in the company of others 😀
Moonhills is the first car park on the left past the Royal Oak pub going towards Exbury 🌲🌳
