Sitting with your feelings is important as it allows you to fully experience , understand & process your emotions rather than pushing them down , ignoring them or reacting impulsively to them.
Heres WHY it matters ..
BUILDS EMOTIONAL AWARENESS...when you pause & sit with your feelings you become more aware of WHAT it is you are truly experiencing which is the first step in understanding yourself.
HELPS TO PROCESS EMOTIONS...Avoiding or suppressing feelings can cause them to build up , sitting with them allows you to fully process them.
REDUCES IMPULSIVE REACTIONS...When you FEEL the emotions it prevents you from reacting out of anger , fear or frustration.
ENCOURAGES SELF COMPASSION...Acknowledging without judgement allows you to treat yourself with kindness.
SUPPORTS PERSONAL GROWTH...Understanding & learning from your emotions teaches resilience , encourages emotional intelligence & a deeper connection to yourself..

In response to a request for a blog on Health Anxiety here it is....
Tho not classed as a phobia it CAN show up as one .
Its common & manageable once you know how !
WHAT IS IT ?.
It is a constant fear of having a serious illness even when tests & Dr's tell you everything is ok .
It shows up as constantly checking symptoms , googling & worrying about every body sensation .
WHY DOES IT HAPPEN ?
Past illness or trauma
Stress & overthinking
Misinterpreting normal body sensations
Too much exposure to health info
Seeing a loved one experience a health crisis
Diffculty tolerating uncertainty
HOW TO MANAGE IT
Limit time you spend googling & checking symptoms eg no googling after 6pm
Challenge negative thoughts ask Is this True ?
What real evidence do I have to support this thought ?
Practice grounding techniques eg Cyclical breathing 2 short inhales 1 long exhale
Learn to accept uncertainty,
Name the emotion eg I am feeling ...& create space between the feeling & action, learn to sit with it .
Engage in Talk Therapy & IEMT

Real peace isnt found in perfection its found in presence meaning you don't crumble when life gets messy .....
Its about the ability to stay grounded when things go wrong , to breathe instead of panic & to trust instead of tightening your grip.
Life doesnt have to be perfect to be at peace you just need to stop trying to control what was never yours to control in the first place.

I was lucky enough to attend a presentation by Dr Wayne Dyer many moons ago at The Hammersmith Apollo.π
His simple idea captures a profound truth, our Mindset shapes our reality.
For example 2 people can face the same situation such as a rainy morning, one grumbles & sighs at the inconvenience & moans about the traffic & the gloom ....the other sees a chance to slow down, enjoy a coffee & listen to the soothing sound of the raindrops.
The weather didn't change the lens through which it was viewed did !
If you focus on what's wrong you will ALWAYS find more reasons to stay stuck however if you start looking for what's right , for lessons , hidden blessings & opportunities to grow everything shifts.
Ultimately the world around you responds to your Mindset.
The power to transform your life isnt out there its in how you SEE the world right now.

Alot of what we do on a daily basis is done on Auto Pilot as we use our Subconscious Brain most of the time. Problems can occur as more often than not we are not aware of our thoughts or behaviour until its too late and we have found ourselves doing or saying something that we dont actually want !

I just need to know how you feel now and how you want to feel instead. I have had amazing results using IEMT with my clients and in a very short period of time they have felt totally different. The memories will be far less vivid and the feelings completely watered down if not comletely gone.
I know first hand the value of NLP as I have experinced quite a few tough knocks in my life. I found CBT and Counselling useful however it was NLP that made the difference ! I felt as if I was looking at life from a whole new perspective and suddenly felt in control of my emotions rather than a victim of them. I am able to empathise with most of my clients as I too have experienced alot of what they are going through. I am happy to share my story with you if it helps.....
