There’s something about this time of year that makes you pay closer attention to your reflection.
Maybe it’s the softer light, the Christmas gatherings creeping closer, or simply catching yourself in the mirror after a long day and thinking… I wish I didn’t look this tired.
That’s exactly how this lovely patient felt before coming to see me.
She wasn’t looking for a new face or a dramatic transformation.
She just wanted to feel like herself again — the version she still felt inside.
Bright. Rested. A little lighter. A little more her.
When she first sat in my chair, she told me she’d spent months gently pulling her forehead upward in the mirror, wondering if it was just the lighting or stress or age catching up faster than she expected.
It wasn’t about vanity.
It was about identity — that subtle disconnect when the person you feel you are doesn’t quite match the person looking back at you.
So we talked.
We took our time.
And together, we created a plan that focused on one thing: restoring that sense of familiarity she’d been missing.
Her results speak quietly — not loudly.
Her forehead looks smoother.
Her expression sits softly again.
But most importantly, she recognises herself when she catches her reflection now.
And that’s the part I love most. The moment everything settles and they say,
“This is how I’ve been wanting to feel.”
As we head into Christmas — the photos, the parties, the moments you’ll want to look back on — many people feel exactly like she did.
Not wanting to look different… just wanting to feel a little more confident walking into the room.
If that’s you, you’re not alone.
And if you’d like to feel comfortably yourself again before the festivities begin, my December diary has only a handful of spaces left.
If you’d like one of them, send a message and I’ll help you get booked in.
