Indulge this festive season all on plan with our delicious Double Choccy Cheesecake hack ๐Ÿซ โœจ

๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿณ You'll need:
Chocolate Chewy Bar
Chocolate Flavour Shake
Mix-a-Mousse

๐ŸฅฃMethod:
1๏ธโƒฃ Chop up half a Chocolate Chewy Bar into tiny pieces into a glass and pat it down.
2๏ธโƒฃ Make up half your Chocolate Flavour Shake with water and Mix-a-Mousse (for best results use a hand blender).
3๏ธโƒฃ Pour your shake mousse mix over your chopped Chocolate Chewy Bar.
4๏ธโƒฃ Set in the fridge for 10 minutes.

Yay! Itโ€™s the weekend - Stay strong and stay away from alcohol while youโ€™re on plan.

Hereโ€™s why:

We're going to a family get-together this weekend for a family birthday Mandy, can I have a drink?"

This question is probably in my top 3 most frequently asked questions, and they never seem to act surprised when they hear the answer "No."

There are several reasons why drinking alcohol is not a good idea whilst on plan, but here is the main one.

Calorie content per gram:
Carbohydrates 4
Protein 4
Alcohol 7
Fat 9

Alcohol is used as a primary source of fuel:

Alcohol is toxic to the body. When alcohol is consumed, it is burned first as a fuel source before your body uses anything else. This is because, unlike glucose, protein, carbohydrates and fat, there is nowhere for alcohol to be stored in the body. Your body therefore makes metabolizing alcohol in your liver a priority to shift it from the body.

When your body is using alcohol as a primary source of energy, the excess glucose and lipids end up, unfortunately for us, as adipose tissue, or fat.

Calorie content of drinks:

Standard glass of wine 175ml 158cal
Large glass of wine 250ml 225cal
Beer, lager, cider Pint 222cal
Spirits (neat) 25ml 50cal

So if you MUST have a drink to celebrate a special occasion, sprits with a calorie free mixer will do the least damage, but I am not condoning it in any way, shape or form while youโ€™re losing weight.

December can be VERY tricky if youโ€™re following a diet plan.

The best advice I can offer is to simply do the best you can do, while being kind to yourself.

When I say be kind to yourself, Iโ€™m not suggesting that you give yourself permission to eat anything and everything!

Quite the opposite.

Iโ€™m suggesting treating your body with the respect it deserves.

Being kind to yourself is eating foods that are high in nutritional value, that nourish your mind, body and soul instead of diminishing them. Making you FEEL better.

So when youโ€™re surrounded by all those tempting foods and drinks, please remember, your real friends are water, lots and lots of it, along with real foods, the protein and veggies as listed in your Step 2 and 3 lists, and of course your 1:1 products that are nutritionally balanced, and help you stay full.

These are the foods that will love you back. The alcohol, the carby, sugary, fatty and fried food, just make you feel bad when eaten in large quantities, so try your best to stay clear of too much foods that don't help you to feel good. These can be fitted into a balanced diet though, there's no such thing as 'good' or 'bad' foods. Just foods that are quite on plan and what you WANT.

โœจ Minimum 2.25 litres of water per day - water is you secret weapon - the more you drink the better you feel!

โœจ Just 3-4 short days of sticking to plan 100% and stabilise your blood sugars again, you will be feeling back in control, no longer bloated and back in the zone. 3 days to feeling good again. You can turn this around, know that you have the power.

โœจ Get moving. Something as easy, free and simple as 30 mins a day of walking can make a huge different to your physical and mental health. Make time for it, even if in 2 blocks of 15 mins. Every step counts.

Ingredients

ยฝ Fruit & Nut Bar
ยฝ sachet of Vanilla Flavour Shake
1 tsp Mix-a-Mousse
A sprinkling of cinnamon

Let's get started
1. Crumble the Fruit & Nut Bar and press it into the bottom of a glass or tin.

2. Make up the Vanilla Flavour Shake and add the Mix-a-Mousse.

TIP: Why not try our range of shakes with the recipe? These can be chocolate, strawberry, or banana!

3. Pour it on top of the bar base and pop it in the fridge to set.
4. Once it's set, add a sprinkling of cinnamon and enjoy!

Why We Are Consultants

Hi everyone!

We wanted to tell you all a little about us. Costas and I have been Cambridge Weight Plan Consultants for over 7 years now and we can honestly say we have loved every single minute of it! We donโ€™t see it as a job as it is nothing like work! We are very passionate about the fabulous brand and helping people change their lives.

We are known as โ€œ2Cchangeโ€ as we have first names that begin with C and we change peoples lives!!!!

Both of us have done the Cambridge Weight Plan losing 7 stone between us so we understand what its like to be on plan. The ups and downs of trying to lose weight for years was finally over when we found CWP. We work from our home and we also travel to our clients and see them in their own home or place of work, where ever is conveinent for them, and we are very flexible with the times we work as most people have very busy lives! We take great care to make sure people are made to feel comfortable and relaxed with us as it can be daunting and for some, embarrassing to have to talk about their weight.
