💛 Your child’s super body is strong — most sore throats get better within 7 days without antibiotics.

Here’s how to help them recover:

• Care at home with rest, plenty of water, and ice lollies to soothe pain

• See your GP if it hasn’t improved after a week or keeps coming back

• Call NHS 111 if they have a high fever, feel shivery, or have a weakened immune system

• Call 999 or go to A+E if they have difficulty breathing, can’t swallow, or symptoms are severe or getting worse quickly
