📣 Announcement:
Resident doctors are taking strike action from 7am on Tuesday 7 April to 6.59am on Monday 13 April 2026. Our local NHS services will experience added pressure. Please be prepared for your medical needs and stay informed on how to navigate care during this period.
The 5 key things you need to know:
1. During resident doctor strikes, other NHS staff – including consultants and specialist doctors – will still be working hard to keep you safe.
2. If you need urgent medical help but you’re not sure where to go, use NHS 111 to get assessed and directed to the right place (call, go online or use the NHS App).
3. In an emergency when someone is seriously ill or their life is at risk, call 999.
4. You will be contacted if your appointment needs to be changed. We’ll only cancel if absolutely necessary and, if needed, we’ll be in touch to reschedule.
5. GP practices and dental surgeries remain open — please continue to attend your appointments unless told otherwise.

🌟 Big News – Getting Through to Us Is About to Get Easier! 🌟
Very soon we will be introducing EMMA, our new intelligent phone assistant powered by QuantumLoop AI.
📞 What does this mean for you?
• No more engaged tones
• No more long waits on hold
• Your call answered instantly – every time
Just tell EMMA what you need:
✔️ Appointments
✔️ Prescription queries
✔️ Test results
✔️ Administrative requests
✔️ Anything else you’d usually call us about
EMMA will securely record your request and pass it straight to our skilled clinical and administrative team, who will review it and get back to you with the right outcome.

EMMA doesn’t replace our staff – she simply helps us handle every call quickly, improves access, and frees the team to help patients who need more support.
We’ll share more updates over the next week as we get ready to launch.
