When you’re doing your job, it can be easy to overlook the impact you can have on someone and their life.

Hair is such a big deal in how we feel.

Over the years I’ve had clients tell me they’ve been too self conscious to leave the house over their hair loss. Some had even shut down relationships and stopped seeing family due to their lack of self worth over this issue.
There will always be people who mock and make fun. Who cares if it’s a hairpiece / wig / hairsystems - call it what you want.
It’s about way more than what you see.

I’m proud to have helped many people like this young lad, and it is still the reason I do what I do. 🙌🏼✂️❤️

Pietro jumped straight into this shorter, sharper pompadour restyle which he really suits. 👌🏼
I cut from the centre so he can wear the break/parting on either the left or right.

He’s got that magic hair you can do anything with, so both sides looked natural (which makes my job loads easier) 👍🏼

All good to go! ✔️

Think Mel was also rather happy with her new look husband. 😉

Got to see one of my longest known pals, and also the most regular and organised client I’ve ever had - over the weekend. ✍🏼 📖

Been doing his hair close to 25 years 🤯 and he still claims the best haircut I ever gave him was in the Toni & Guy staff room on my 15 minute lunch break. 😂

Normally a solo visit but getting to see the rest of the family this time was wonderful, and it wouldn’t have been complete without a puppy greeting! 💙

They’ve all been blessed with great hair - I’m just wondering if I should be branching out into dog grooming next.🐶

Wonderful to have a catch up with my much loved Auntie.
She lives in Nottingham so we don’t get to see anywhere near enough of each other.
Having had dreads removed recently she was in need of some assistance.
Tea, hair inspiration and heartfelt conversation lead us to this end result!
Really enjoyed seeing her and reconnecting once again. A true pleasure and blessing as always❤️

There is something very satisfying about helping someone with their image.

Whether it’s haircuts / colours, hairpieces or SMP that’s required, it’s a process and takes time.

From start to finish, it’s taken 12 weeks for this custom hairpiece to be done for my client. He is always so grateful for the service to his home and I am always happy to be able to provide it.

Putting the world to rights over tea and biscuits is an added benefit.🫖

Been a busy 9 weeks since I left the salon.

I’ve travelled all around Essex and even to Spain for clients, in that time.

Some of which have reached out to me from nearly a decade ago, to ask if I could visit them.

Wonderful to continue doing the work I enjoy with people that appreciate it.
