💀Are you ready for a spine-tingling week of Pilates like you’ve never experienced before?
🪄 Get ready witches and wizards, because Halloween week is here, and it’s going to be a hauntingly good time!

Prepare for a week filled with classes that embrace the Halloween spirit. From wickedly fun workouts to classes designed to make you sweat and scream 😱 … Oh wait, i think thats pretty much the norm! 🙃 😂🤣Cackle, cackle ! 🧙‍♀️ 🧹

But that’s not all – I have some exciting surprises in store for you throughout the week. 🦇 Expect eerie decorations and if you really want to get into the SPIRIT 👻 ……a costume contest! And of course, no Halloween celebration would be complete without some delightful treats. 🍬 🍭

🌍Today is world teachers day.
I can think of many teachers that I would like to thank. 🙏🏻💗 In honour of their accomplishments and efforts I would like to share a little about myself and how they shaped my future.
✨Always be proud of your accomplishments, and thankful to your teachers.

I was born in 1967. I trained at Elmhurst Ballet School from the age of eleven and finished my training at London Studio Centre at the age of nineteen. I worked professionally as a dancer, choreographer and dance teacher for over twenty years and discovered Pilates through rehabilitation. The results were amazing. I have loved Pilates ever since!

I trained with Future Fit School of Pilates in London, and became fully qualified in May 2015, achieving a Level 3 VTCT Diploma. I now enjoy teaching different levels of Mat based Pilates classes from Beginners to Improvers, Mixed Abilities, Intermediates and Advanced, and also teach Suspension Vertical and Mat Pilates using the TRX.

In February 2017 I began training in London with Michael Patrick, Director of Bowen Therapy UK, and one of London's leading Bowen practitioners. By September 2017 I achieved a diploma in Bowtech with The Bowen Therapy Accademy of Australia. I am a full member of The Bowen Association UK and I am committed to continuing my professional development to increase my knowledge and skills.
In 2019 I became qualified to perform Advanced Bowen work, having completed "Specialised Bowen Procedures 1" (SBP1), IOS Bowen and furthermore qualified to teach medically endorsed, Pilates based exercises for bone and joint health, safe for those with Osteoporosis. Since Covid got in the way a little I recently got back on track and continued this year to develop my education further with an online event course this time for Bowen therapy. There is always so much more to learn and such great teachers to learn from. “The transformation of education begins with teachers.”

Why Pilates?

Pilates has become very popular over the years. It is suitable for all ages and levels of fitness.The exercises can be layered according to fitness levels. They are slow, controlled and flowing, working all muscle groups leaving the body conditioned and balanced, and primarily strengthening the core muscles that stabilise the spine.

A healthy spine exhibits four natural curves. They increase the spines strength, help to maintain balance in an upright position, help protect the vertebral column from fracture and absorb shock from walking. Distortion of the natural curvature of the spine will create different posture types often caused by weak muscles, weak ligaments, genetics, injury and simply poor posture and so on.

Pilates helps to realign the body and helps correct postural problems, bringing mind and body together to create a body awareness.
