This really made me smile, I just received this absolutely lovely review from a young girl who had counselling with me last year. 😊❤️

With Donna's help I was able to remove myself from a bad mental state, this state caused me to feel depressed and to constantly overthink and panic and worry about anything which was out of my character. It's been almost a year since my last session with Donna and I have found methods to calm myself down, to focus on myself, and to have proper communication with the people around me. With Donna's help and with the sessions I had I learned to identify my emotions and validate them accordingly and in doing so I found confidence to things I have always wanted to do. It has been almost a year since our last session and I feel just as refreshed and happy since then. It has made a lasting impact on my life and relationships and I now feel closer to those I love and more present in my own happiness.

During our sessions we would talk about my struggles and what I was feeling, as well as identifying reasons for what I do and how healthy it is, but I would also be allowed to rant and talk about all my interests and sometimes talk about my day if I wanted to. These conversations meant a lot to me because it would let me get out anything I couldn't say myself and now I can say everything myself as I was given the opportunity to before.

Today was a me time, other than trying to get housework done, I then felt the need to listen to music & draw. We have to sometimes give ourselves time, I've been very busy lately, and today I needed to give myself some self-care.

Thinking of this, I decided to draw something related, what are your thoughts?

Today is  and a chance to talk about mental health in general and how to look after it.

Did you know that spending time outdoors in green spaces can benefit both your mental and physical health?

🍃 Spending as little as 20 minutes in the park can boost wellbeing.
🍃 Exercise can increase serotonin levels which can boost your mood and self-esteem.
🍃 It can improve your physical health and fitness.

As a therapist, I understand how hard it can get for people over Christmas, remember that there is always someone you can talk to at anytime of the day or night.

Here are a few tips:
Remember to look after yourself, self care is paramount.

Join a local community.

Try to avoid social comparisons.

Have boundaries put in place.

Avoid too much alcohol or food, this can have a negative impact. Alcohol is also a depressant.

If it gets too much, take a break from it, go to another room, listen to some music, or go for a walk.

Please do not put pressure on yourself.

Domestic violence is happening all the time; however, it is even more prevalent when England lose a football match. Please reach out & get help.

According to The National Centre For Domestic Violence, incidents of DV increase by 38% when England lose. The National Domestic Abuse Helpline is 0808 2000 247, and the information below will tell you how to call 999 silently if you are unable to speak.

How to make a silent 999 call

If you're in danger, call 999 and try to speak to the operator if you can, even by whispering. You may also be asked to cough or tap the keys on your phone to answer questions.

Call 999 from a mobile

If you don't speak or answer questions, press 55 when prompted and your call will be transferred to the police.

Pressing 55 only works on mobiles and doesn't allow the police to track your location.

If you don't press 55 your call will be ended.

Call 999 from a landline

If you don't speak or answer questions and the operator can only hear background noise, they'll transfer your call to the police.

If you replace the handset, the landline may remain connected for 45 seconds in case you pick it up again.

Calling 999 from a landline automatically gives the police information about your location.

My aim is to provide personal and professional Crystal Healing, which I believe will deepen your understanding of yourself and your situation so that you are able to make confident decisions based on the choices available to you.

Crystal therapy and crystal healing works by utilizing the energies of crystals, gemstones and minerals, to re-align our own subtle bodies and energy systems, that in turn have a direct effect on our physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.

Some people worry about what happens and how it affects you, but you do not need to worry, as Crystal healing is a non invasive type of therapy where I will lay stones/crystals on your body, you will remain fully clothed throughout the session.

Crystals are beautiful and wonderful, they have been utilised for their healing abilities by countless ancient civilisations throughout all known history, going back a very long time.
