The Roof Was Raised! An Afternoon with the Wonderful Alex
​They say music is the language of the soul, and yesterday at Cedars, our souls had plenty to say! We were thrilled to welcome the incredibly talented Alex, who joined us for an afternoon that was—quite simply—a smash hit.
​From the very first note, the room transformed. Alex didn't just sing to us; he sang with us.

An afternoon with Alex isn't just about the music—it’s about the laughter and the shared connection. Whether it was a quiet singalong to a favorite ballad or a full-room chorus of a golden oldie, the joy was infectious😂

We loved hosting our recent Residents & Family Meeting! ❤️ It was a wonderful afternoon of connection, conversation, and community. Families had the opportunity to hear updates, ask questions, and spend meaningful time with our team in a relaxed setting.
A highlight of the afternoon was the delicious food and the chance to meet our talented chef! 🍽️ Guests enjoyed sampling favorite dishes while learning more about the care and creativity that goes into our dining program each day.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the afternoon so special. We look forward to gathering together again soon! 💛

First Buds to Golden Sunsets: A Day Out with Cedars
​There is a specific kind of magic that happens when the air turns crisp and the sun starts to hold its warmth. Southchurch Park, and it felt like watching the world wake up.
​The Promise of Spring
​As we wandered through the pathways, we were greeted by the first crocuses of the year. These tiny, brave flowers are the ultimate "pushing through the cold earth to remind us that spring is just around the corner. For our residents, seeing those splashes of purple and gold wasn't just about gardening, it was about the feeling of renewal and hope.
​The Golden Hour
​After the park, we made our way to the seafront. There is something deeply peaceful about sitting at the water’s edge as the day draws to a close. We sat together, wrapped in the sea breeze, watching the sun go down over the horizon.
​In those quiet moments, looking out at the shimmering water, there was no rush and no worry. Just a group of friends sharing a sunset.

The Tai Chi Avengers Have Arrived! 📚

Following the exciting news, we’re delighted to share that Debbie’s first book, Tai Chi Avengers: Midnight Bandits, is now officially available on Amazon!

Inspired by our very own residents and their Tai Chi sessions at Cedars, our residents are so proud to see themselves brought to life in print!

Residents enjoyed a lovely afternoon out at Serendipity Café at the Garrison ☕️ The café is full of great history, as it used to be part of the Army barracks, and even has a charming little museum inside 🥰

David especially loved looking around, as he served in the Army Medical Corps, so it brought back many memories. We finished the visit with a beautiful sunset 🌅
