What is it they say about seven degrees of separation - I started some new local client research this week and a marriage into the family was for an Eric William Longley-Cook and for some reason that name rang a bell with me.

On checking my Charnwood Genealogy blog I had found and researched a random postcard in 2020 that had been sent from Italy by an Eric William Longley-Cook and he is the same man!!

What were the chances of that happening and I can’t wait to tell the client.
