“Too old? I don’t understand the phrase.”

“Today’s adventure? Well… I only popped out for milk and came home having test-driven a bright red convertible and booked myself into a salsa festival in Barcelona.

My daughter nearly fainted.
My carer from Redleif Care Essex just sighed, made me a tea, and said, ‘At least wear sunscreen this time.’

Honestly, that’s why I love them — they don’t try to stop me, they just make sure I don’t accidentally salsa off the stage or forget where I parked my new sports car.

Tonight I’m hosting a poker night (winner gets my secret biscuit stash). Tomorrow? Who knows. Maybe I’ll join a rock band. Stranger things have happened…

“Age? Just a number. Fun? Mandatory.”
“Well, it’s Thursday and apparently I’m supposed to be having a quiet cuppa and a crossword… but I’ve just booked a skydive for Friday and I’m still recovering from last night’s karaoke showdown. (I won. Obviously.)

People keep telling me to ‘slow down’—but why on earth would I do that when Redleif Care Essex keeps me feeling like I’m 25? They check in, keep me safe, make sure I’ve eaten something other than cake… and then politely look the other way while I plan my next adventure.

Next up: Salsa dancing, a charity bungee jump, and maybe a little shopping spree. Why not? Life’s too short for beige cardigans and early bedtimes!
