Snowdrops Baby Loss Southend Support Group

It was fantastic to launch the Snowdrops Run Club this morning. We are a social running club for bereaved parents, an opportunity to be together with others who have an understanding of what it is like to loose a much loved baby. Thank you to for providing us with these beautiful shirts and to for their encouragement. We meet on the last Saturday of each month at Billericay Parkrun. If you would like to join us next month (28th March) we will meet you at 8.30 by the entrance to the park at Lake Meadows. Our next group is on Thursday 26th, it is open to anyone who has lost a baby in Southend and would to meet other bereaved parents. It is a special session as it marks a year since we began. Please join us, if you would like a chat before hand please do get in touch. Lindsay x

We are getting close to our first meeting of the Snowdrops Run Club on the 28th February. You don't have to be a runner, this is about being togetherness not times, however if you want to sprint off we will meet you in the café afterwards! Excitingly our Snowdrops organisation has rapidly grown, not only in the support that we can provide, but also in our involvement in national projects and research which work to improve care following the loss of a baby. We have created a new page The Snowdrops Foundation to pull this all together and to share the work we are doing.
