In recent years, more people have begun using AI tools to help cope with loss. 💜
For some, this can offer comfort. It can help put feelings into words, reflect on memories, or simply provide an objective space to process emotions.
However, it’s important to approach this carefully.
Grief is deeply personal, and while technology can support reflection, it should never replace human connection, compassion, and real-world support. 🤝
Things to consider:
🫂AI cannot truly understand emotion or loss in the way people can
🛡️It’s important to protect personal and sensitive information
💜Everyone grieves differently, what helps one person may not help another
🗣️Speaking with family, friends or professionals remains incredibly important
At its heart, grieving is about connection, to memories, to people, and to the life that’s been lived.
Technology may play a small role, but it’s the human moments that matter most.
If you’d like support dealing with the loss of a loved one, or you know someone who could, we offer a weekly bereavement support group where you can talk, listen, and find comfort among others who understand.
