Summer apples and elderberries are out in force! perfect time to get some juicy sunny sippers on the go!
massive thanks to Graham for the press, amazing present :)
Three stages of pure apple juice. One squeezed and left neat, one squeezed and honey from our hives mixed in and one that was squeezed 24 hours later.
All beautiful, all different colours.
Elderberries were picked and thrown into a big pan, little splash of water added. Leave them to warm through on a very low heat until juice starts to rise above the fruits (leave the lid on). When your satisfied you have broken them all down pour the lot into a muslin bag and squeeze until it stops dripping. Pour juice into sterile jar and put in fridge when cool or add some honey or maple syrup for taste.

Good morning all. Massive thanks to 1st Stanford Le Hope scout and cub troop for inviting me down to their camp site to do a bit of foraging.
I had a lovely morning and I think I am now a scout again?! I got the scarf ;)
any scout troops, schools or any group of any kind that wants to have me down for a walk feel free to message. id love to come hang out :)

massive thanks to all that came and joined us at the last FOOD FORAGE by JOHN and ANDY. It was hot, dry, windy and everyone got a bit dusty but we met some lovely plants and made some great connections :).
sorry for the lack of pictures, got too into the moment! :P
