I listened to Michel Odent speak when I took My active birth training. He pioneered a gentle birth and the idea of physiology and environments playing a vital role in the birth of a baby. He introduced birthing rooms and birthing pools “water birth”. He was a visionary and dedicated his life to improving the well-being of mothers and infants.

Last week was strep B awareness week. Testing in pregnsncy is not automatic but can sometimes get picked up. You can request a test or pay for testing. Take a look online for information regarding strep B, what it is and how to get tested in pregnancy.
