Whitakers Opticans are again proud to support the Elland Silver Band Organisation, as they prepare for their Anniversary Spectacular Concert at Huddersfield Town Hall on Sunday July 13th from 2.30pm - 5.00pm.

A great opportunity to listen to 6 bands, and over 100 musicians!!

We had some very special visitors at our Sowerby Bridge practice this morning from 😁

A lovely group of children came to see us to learn all about eyes for 👀

We had such a lot of fun learning how to look after our eyes and what happens behind the scenes at the Opticians.
The children had a go at trying on glasses, testing each others eyes and even helped our lab-tech make a pair of specs 🤓

Children's Eye Health is a super important topic so we're always really pleased when kids (and adults) take an interest in looking after their eyes!
