Our Cedar Falls residents and families came together to celebrate a cozy pumpkin-filled Harvest Festival in the gardens! From pumpkin carving and painting to pumpkin marbling, there was plenty of autumn fun for everyone to enjoy.
The kitchen team treated us to a beautiful graze board and a bowl of warming harvest vegetable soup — perfect for the crisp fall weather! 🌽🥕🍞
A huge thank you to our Lifestyles Team, Jenny and Alicia, who braved the cold and worked so hard to make this event a huge success. ❤️

Last year, one amazing lady inspired us all when she baked 14 beautiful Christmas cakes all by herself — each one filled with love, care, and festive cheer. 💕🍰
This week, her Christmas magic returned once again! With her cherished recipe in hand, she shared the secret to her delicious cakes, and together we helped her bring that festive tradition back to life. The joy on her face as she mixed, baked, and decorated was the real icing on the cake. 🎅🏼🎂

🚓💙 A Dream Come True for Resident Les! 💙🚓
Today was a very special day for our wonderful resident, Les, whose heartfelt wish was to experience what it’s like to ride in a police car. Thanks to the amazing team at Lincolnshire Police, that wish came true! 🙌
Les was absolutely thrilled when officers arrived to give him the full VIP treatment — from sitting in the police car to hearing the sirens and seeing the lights flash. His smile said it all! 😊
We can’t thank Lincolnshire Police enough for their kindness and generosity in making this unforgettable moment happen. You truly made Les’s day — and all of ours too! 💙

Today, our wonderful Deputy Chef Sarah has been hard at work behind the scenes — setting the tables for lunch service, carefully polishing each piece of cutlery, and making sure every table feels welcoming and full of life. 🍽️✨
It’s the little touches — the shine on a spoon, a neatly folded napkin, a cheerful setting — that make mealtimes special for our residents. And Sarah brings that extra care to every shift. 💛
