Today Cedar Falls was full of colour, football shirts and cake for a brilliant cause 💙⚽🍰
We held a Wear Your Own Clothes Day, with lots of staff proudly showing off their favourite football shirts, and topped the day off with a Valentine’s Cake Bake Sale ❤️
Together we raised money for Sunny Days Children’s Fund, a charity that supports children with serious medical conditions and their families.
A huge thank you to everyone who donated and got involved and also to our kitchen team for their amazing baking for this alondwoth carer Sharon for baking some wonderful cakes too – your kindness will help bring sunshine to children who really need it 🌞

The chocolate fountain was flowing, the dipping got messy, and the laughs were non-stop! From strawberries and marshmallows to anything we could get our hands on… everything tastes better covered in chocolate 😍

We’re delighted to celebrate our long-standing Deputy Manager, Maxine, on her appointment as Home Manager of Cedar Falls Care Home.

Join us on Tuesday 17th February, from 3:00–6:00 pm, to meet Maxine and the team. We’re looking forward to seeing the home go from strength to strength under her leadership.

Today was a sweet one 🍪
We had so much fun making cookies with our residents—mixing the ingredients together, rolling out the dough, and of course enjoying a taste once they were baked! Nothing beats smiles, laughter, and the smell of fresh cookies filling the room 💛

🧀🍷 National Cheese Lovers Day at Cedar Falls 🍷🧀
Cedar Falls enjoyed celebrating National Cheese Lovers Day by hosting a delightful cheese and wine afternoon for our residents, complete with great company and entertainment.
Our wonderful Lifestyle team, Jenny and Alicia, created beautiful cheeseboards featuring a delicious selection – from Cheshire Blue to a classic mature cheddar, and even some smoky flavours, all perfectly paired with crackers to enjoy.
A relaxed afternoon filled with tasty treats, smiles, and shared moments 💛

✂️ Barber Day at Cedar Falls ✂️
This week we welcomed our Dementia-Friendly Barbers for their monthly visit, and it was a lovely morning and afternoon in our salon.
Residents enjoyed listening to their favourite songs, looking at photos and sharing memories while being pampered — something they always look forward to 💙
