We are very concerned to see comments suggesting that we did not care. The wellbeing of the people we support is central to everything we do.
Just to clarify, we were not with the client when the incident occured however, once we were notified of the situation, a member of our care team was immediately dispatched to attend and remain with the client while appropriate support was arranged.
As a CQC-regulated provider, our staff must follow safeguarding and moving & handling procedures to ensure that no further harm is caused when someone has experienced a fall. Acting responsibly and safely is a core part of caring.
We fully reviewed the incident in line with our governance procedures.
Due to confidentiality, we cannot discuss individual circumstances publicly, but we are always available to speak directly with anyone who has questions about our processes.
