Today’s fun highlight - The Magic Hat! 🎩✨
We wrapped a black top hat in clear tape and challenged our residents to stick as many plastic balls to it as possible using only their hands! 🤲😂
Lots of laughs, plenty of friendly competition, and tons of teamwork made this game an absolute hit.
And of course… we wrapped it all up the only way we know how: with music and dancing! 🎶💃🕺
Such a joyful day and an activity they loved from start to finish! 💛

We shared a moment of silence and watched the parade, reflecting on the courage and sacrifice of those who came before us.🙏
Our residents held poppies gently in their hands as a small symbol with a great meaning, a reminder of bravery, love and loss.🕊️
With warm tea and scones, we remembered the past and the importance of peace, gratitude and hope.✨

A beautiful afternoon shared with a truly special couple 🤍❤️Sue and Eric ➡️our hearts are a little fuller and a little heavier .You have brought so much kindness, warmth and joy to our Fenchurch family👏

We will miss you deeply 🤗but this is not goodbye. We’ll stay in touch, we’ll visit and the memories we’ve made together will remain close to us always.🙏🥰

It’s Spa Week! 🤍✨
Today we treated our lovely residents to a well-deserved pamper day 💆‍♀️🌿

We started with gentle hand massages with everyone choosing their favourite cream 🌸
Then we moved on to foot massages and a bubbly foot spa to help them relax 🫧🦶
To finish, each resident enjoyed a facial mask of their choice complete with warm towels and soothing lemon & cucumber water 🍋🥒

It was a truly calming and joyful experience 🤩small moments of care can make such a big difference 🤍✨

Our day was filled with sweet magic chocolate, 🍫 candies, 🍭 fruity treats decorated just for the spooky season and yes… even some healthier goodies for those who prefer less sugar! 😄

We laughed, 🤪we showed off our costumes, 👻our faces were painted in the spirit of the holiday and the joy was everywhere!

A big THANK YOU to everyone who joined us and helped make this Halloween celebration truly unforgettable for our residents! 🧡✨

Fenchurch House Care Home will open in October 2020. Led by kindness, compassion and dignity, the dedicated staff at Fenchurch House in Spalding, will provide the kind of care we would want all of our loved ones to receive.

Spread across three floors, offering residential and specialist dementia care, our purpose-built care home is luxurious and beautifully furnished whilst retaining a warm, homely feel. We are located in the heart of the countryside but still close to local amenities and with good transport links – we will welcome regular visitors, groups and guests to socialise with our residents.

Whether with us for a short-term respite stay, or starting a new chapter at Fenchurch House permanently, we offer a home from home, providing a safe, supportive and sociable environment to live in. Family means a great deal to all of us and we understand the importance of selecting the right care home for your loved ones, so we are on hand to help with anything you need. While we still continue to live through unprecedented times, the need to provide the highest quality care for our loved ones is greater than ever.
