One of our values is ✨ “Making things happen” ✨for the residents we care for 💙A small and simple example down below ⬇️

Early in the morning 🌅 after having breakfast 🥞 Mary mentioned that she would like to eat some fresh fruit scones 🍓Simple and easy for us, but completely unexpected for her 😄we put her on the minibus and took her into town, where the best scones are served at Birchgrove Garden Centre. She brought along two other friends and all three of them had a wonderful outing🚏

They also made new friends for life 🤭Daisy 🦆 the duck, a name she chose herself.

Pancake Day was a success! 🥞✨ We had so much fun especially since we all know how much we love sweet treats 😋 Whether it’s chocolate 🍫 or just lemon juice 🍋 and sugar, every topping is a winner!

We hope you celebrated this day as beautifully and sincerely as we did ❤️ with music, good vibes, a wonderful afternoon tea and stunning flowers kindly donated by the granddaughter of our resident Tony, who is just starting out in the business Fairview Florist and truly brightened our day with her lovely arrangements🌸✨

💖 Hearts of Happiness 💖

Our home has been filled with love as part of our Hearts of Happiness activity. Each resident decorated a heart with their name and a special message from the heart, written especially for their loved ones. These beautiful hearts will be displayed soon around the home on our Kind Hearts Wall, spreading warmth and kindness to everyone who sees them.✨

This activity reminded us that details matter ❤️it’s the small, thoughtful moments that help create a positive, caring culture and make our home feel truly special.

Today felt truly special with a gentle hint of spring in the air 🌷☀️. We chose to spend time outdoors, taking in the beauty of the garden 🌿🌼 and breathing in the fresh air 🌬️.

Moments like these may seem small to some but for others they are deeply meaningful 💛nurturing emotional wellbeing and a sense of connection 🤝. Simple experiences like this can bring comfort, calm and joy 😌✨ in ways that matter more than many other experiences.

Nutella Day was a real success! 🍫✨

We never miss an opportunity when chocolate is involved 😍 Fluffy croissants 🥐 soft and delicious waffles 🧇, juicy sweet strawberries 🍓 and bananas 🍌 — pure happiness! Our residents enjoyed the moment, had great conversations, and learned new things about the history of this special day 🤎📖
