With a special guest too : one of the amazing YOPEY Dementia Befriender students we collaborate with 🤍

We read poems 📝solved word searches 🔍did some coloring 🎨 and kept ourselves happily busy 🫶fun, creativity and good vibes all around 😊🌈

✨🌟MAKING THINGS HAPPEN 🌟✨

A truly heartwarming and deeply emotional surprise for two of our residents. 🙏Moments like these remind us why we love creating special experiences for the people in our care❤️Roy was joyfully visited by his cousin and Jean was reunited with her dear friend after such a long time apart. Precious memories were lovingly shared, there was heartfelt laughter and also tears filled with emotion😘🌿

Reunions like these are incredibly beneficial for our mental health, they strengthen emotional well-being, bring comfort, reduce feelings of loneliness and reconnect our residents with their sense of identity and belonging. Seeing familiar faces and reliving meaningful memories can have a powerful, positive impact on the mind and soul 🫶

It was a truly beautiful and unforgettable day, and we would like to sincerely thank our wonderful colleagues at Rose Lodge Care Home for helping make this emotional reunion possible👏🙏🎈

What a beautiful day welcoming residents from our sister care home- St Johns Care Home 💙

A day full of laughter, friendly competition and wonderful moments shared between residents, staff and even family members.👏

We kicked things off with a fun quiz to test our knowledge, followed by some healthy competition during a mini golf game. It was amazing to see everyone getting involved, supporting one another and enjoying every moment together.🤩✨

Days like these remind us how special it is to connect with new people, build friendships and simply enjoy time spent together. Truly a memorable and heartwarming experience for everyone involved ✨⛳️💫

Today we celebrated Mother’s Day sharing smiles, warm moments and lovely memories with our residents. 🌿✨It was a beautiful day dedicated to the amazing mothers who have given so much love and care throughout their lives.❤️🙏

Cultural Fashion Show at Fenchurch House Care Home

We managed to bring together eight countries in one place : Fenchurch House Care Home: the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 Nepal 🇳🇵 India 🇮🇳 the Philippines 🇵🇭 Nigeria 🇳🇬 Poland 🇵🇱 Lithuania 🇱🇹 and Romania 🇷🇴

People from all around came and joined us👏Together, we were able to show our beloved residents and their families a little of each person’s culture and traditions.🎈🎊🌸

Everyone represented their country as best as they could through traditional costumes, music, food, drinks, weaving, embroidery and everything they had to offer at their very best. All of this was done simply to show everyone how different and wonderful we all are as nations.🎤✨🎶

Many thanks to everyone involved 👏🙏 and to those who joined us and last but not least to our special guests who represented Lithuania through their live music, beautifully performed on the violin by the lovely Aldona from Spalding Lituanistinė Mokyklėlė "Liepų Žiedai".
