đź’™Thank You for Your Support Today đź’™

Today was our first day using our new Total Triage system, and we want to thank all our patients for your patience and cooperation.

The new system helped us review every request more quickly and fairly, ensuring people were directed to the right care as soon as possible. Many issues were resolved without needing an appointment, and those who did need to be seen were booked in promptly.

We know any change can take a little getting used to, and we’re grateful for the understanding shown as we make this improvement. Over the coming days, we’ll continue to refine the system and make it even smoother.

Thank you for working with us as we improve access and help everyone get the care they need.

If you would like to try out the new way to access the practice - visit our website and click on any 'Contact Us' banner you see.

âś…A reminder that we change to our new Total Triage system on Monday 1st December 2025.

📱We ask that as many of you as possible use the NHS App to submit your queries and requests - as this identifies you immediately from our end and makes the process much smoother. It is free to download from your usual app store and easy to set up.

đź’»We have been trialling our processes over the last few weeks and while we have already made significant changes, as with any new system we anticipate there to be some teething issues to iron out. We appreciate your patience with this and do not anticipate that it will affect your care in any way.

🎉We are very excited about this change, we can't wait to be more accessible for you all.

🎉 We are delighted to announce a move to Total Triage with AccuRx from 1st December 2025.

đź’» We have been using Accurx for some time now, and many of you will be familair with the process of submitting an online request via this platform. By moving to a total triage model with Accurx we can vastly increase our capacity. Their website explain things very well: https://www.accurx.com/total-triage

ℹ️ Please also take the time to watch this video, which explains how we will soon be working and helping you - https://youtu.be/CvsxpA3Ul1o?si=JZwI1t4IrJ4fhGRk

🩺 We have seen this working in local practices and discussed with others who have made this successful and know this will help you. Our capacity will be increased by a robust triage system, meaning that you will receive the most appropriate care in a timely manner.

🗓️ You will have a wider choice of appointment availability to book directly. We have already increased the number of face to face appointments we offer and our telephone lines will be freed up,

📵 What if you don’t have a smartphone or can’t use the internet?
You can still telephone your surgery or visit in person. The receptionist will ask you some questions about your request to fill out the online form on your behalf. The surgery team will then assess your request and will be back in touch with next steps.

You can find more information about this process here: https://support.accurx.com/en/articles/8608032-patient-support-a-better-way-to-contact-your-gp?fbclid=IwY2xjawN-ooNleHRuA2FlbQIxMABicmlkETBscGthQVlxdlhEYWptblRPc3J0YwZhcHBfaWQQMjIyMDM5MTc4ODIwMDg5MgABHrLvZOrFZNo6zHY8D_-u9M_PHfPz88MZoZFKKsn3lYo0yQLeKNkHEh-ulU9Z_aem_KBVUBIuMcJhAtRrqODoGUA

Discover everything you need to know about Accurx total triage models, including how we're supporting you with the move to this way of working.
