β˜• SUPPORT CAFΓ‰ – CANCER | Spalding

We are launching a new community support initiative as part of the project
β€œLiving Well: Before and Beyond Cancer.”

We welcome:
βœ” people living with cancer
βœ” people who have completed cancer treatment
βœ” family members and loved ones

These are calm, informal meetings over coffee β€” no pressure, no judgement.
A space to talk, spend time together, feel supported and understood.
No registration and no referral needed.

We also offer free, community-based information support, including:
β€’ help understanding NHS letters and medical information
β€’ help with booking appointments and screenings
β€’ conversation and support for people who feel overwhelmed or unsure about their health situation
All support is provided confidentially and safely.

As part of the project, we are also planning:
🎳 3 group bowling outings – to encourage social connection and gentle physical activity
🩺 3 cancer prevention and awareness sessions – focusing on early detection, screening, healthy habits and wellbeing
