Early evening time yesterday we had some pretty fireworks for the residents. Our staff got them set up outside and the residents were facing the window so they could see the pretty fireworks in the warm.
They all got comfortable and then we began.
They were so colourful, the residents really enjoyed them.
We finished the night off with a hot chocolate and marshmallows.🎆🎇🎉

We had some time in the garden recently. One of our residents helped us to remove our old tomato plants from our new raised beds. We collected and counted all the canes we took out.
We found a worm and a little lady bird landed on his jacket.

We had an amazing captains day here at Ashwood a little while back.
We had our captains table all ready for the man himself.
All the residents had their own passport. They told us what countries they had been to and we made stamps to go in each of them. Such a fun day.

Friday we took some of our residents to one of our sister homes.
They enjoyed every minute of the cinema room.
They got all settled down to watch the movie. A big thank you to Fenchurch for having us.
The residents really enjoyed themselves and cant wait to do it again soon

Celebrating Diwali today here at Ashwood.
Our amazing staff done an amazing dance for us. The residents all really enjoyed it. All of us were tapping away. The music was so energetic and alive.

Yesterday we said goodbye to one of our lovely Carers.
She always made everyone smile. Such a loving caring soul. Don’t ever stop being you Margo.
We will all miss you so so much. Good luck in your new adventures. Much love to you xx

It's that time of the year when crisp leaves are on the ground and orange and reds colours are all around outside. People are beginning to think about those coal fires and being all cosy.
We have been getting ready for the wonderful Autumn season here at Ashwood.
The crafts have been flowing and the Autumn display looks amazing.

Our courtyard garden has had a fabulous makeover – and we’re loving the results! With beautiful new raised beds, it's now easier than ever for our residents to get involved in gardening, watering, and watching our plants bloom and thrive. 💜🌸

There’s nothing like a little fresh air and green-fingered fun to brighten our days!
