What a wonderful mother's day at Ashwood yesterday. Celebrating and sharing the love for all the empowering women, mothers and grandmothers on this special day. 🩷🌷

Spending the morning receiving beautiful flowers, gifts and cards from family and well being staff.

The afternoon was spent with lots of dancing and singing to a live performance from memory lane, which were absolutely fantastic. All Smiles and laughter were had by all staff, residents, family and friends that attended.

Ending the day with a beautiful buffet and cakes enjoyed by all. 💐🌼

We would like to recognise our hardworking housekeeping team for their outmost dedication, in ensuring Ashwood meets the highest standard of cleanliness in our premises.

We received an outstanding rating from our Infection Prevention and Control visit beginning of this month, and we could not have done it without the leadership of our head housekeeper and infection control lead, Sarah and her housekeeping team.

Ultimately, it was due to the collective efforts of the whole Ashwood team that garnered us such rating.

Today, we had our annual fire safety inspection and we got a good report from the inspector.

In behalf of the Ashwood team, we would like to appreciate the dedication and efforts of our Maintenance man, Eldho, for making sure that Ashwood maintains the highest standard of Fire safety and that we comply with the fire safety regulations at all times.

We also would like to thank the never ending support of our Risk and Compliance Officer, Ben and the Head of Estates, Paul.

Truly their presence in Ashwood, makes a big difference in the service we provide.

Residents spent a beautiful sunny morning visiting the waterside garden centre yesterday. They loved seeing all the fascinating fish at the aquamarine store and the colourful flowers, the favourite being the roses. They ended the trip with a lovely coffee and cake of choice in the cafe.

We had a wonderful time during our Bakes and Bubbles Tea Party, to celebrate Valentines Day with our lovely residents and relatives.
Staff joined in with laughter and dancing. Music from Shane the keyboard man. What a day to remember.
