Talk Stick, managed by Tonic Health, has secured support through the Shine Lincolnshire Su***de Prevention Strategy Grant to deliver a roadshow of men’s mental health information and awareness sessions across hockey clubs in Lincolnshire throughout 2025.

We are beyond thrilled and excited to share that Modus Darts have given Talk Stick 2x standard tickets for the Night at Boston RFC as a prize! 🎟️

Darts fans….top darts stars are coming to Lincolnshire this November!

Humphries, Cross, Beaton, Rock and Williams will all be at Boston RFC, make sure you are too!

Modus Darts Sports Management have heard our story at Talk Stick as a gesture to further raise funds for our project they have give the opportunity for someone to win x2 tickets for the event.

To be in with a chance to win the prize we ask anyone wanting to enter to donate £5 to our crowd funding page. Once we see your name on our page you are entered into the draw. We will announce the prize winner in November randomly.

Come and join our mental health awareness session ONLINE!

No pressure to join a group, no need to leave the house, feel like you’re the only one that feels low? This is a session accessible to all our followers at Talk Stick and beyond!

Bro Pro UK will deliver a mental health awareness session on Monday 3rd November 7pm-8pm.

We have been so lucky David from Bro Pro UK has travelled with us across Lincolnshire to deliver in person these sessions to our hockey clubs.

Now we are making a session accessible to all from the comfort of your own home! These sessions can still give an individual so much support and we cannot wait to spread the works and help “break the silence” here at Talk Stick! David will give such an insight around men’s mental health and the support that is out there to ensure no more lives are lost!

Share with your friends, your family, your loved ones or just generally on your social media pages.
It would be great if all our local sports athletes are also aware of this session. Whether it’s football, rugby, cricket or another sport we want you all to know help is available and no one is alone.
So get sharing and hopefully so many people from around Lincolnshire will join our online mental health awareness session.

🚨UPDATE🚨

Oscar and Oli have completed their incredible challenge around Rutland Water.

2.5km walking every hour for 24 hours!! ⏰

Both boys are physically exhausted, tired and sore but we could not be prouder of them.

Resilience, determination and fortitude
shown in two young men who battled the temperatures of the night and yet are still smiling as the finished at 7.30 this morning.

As it stands currently £1200 has been donated for the boys and for Talk Stick which is incredible and the donations are continuing to come in.

🚨 Oscar and Oli are over half way through there incredible challenge. You boys are showing amazing strength and character. They will continue throughout the evening as they aim to walk 2.5km every hour for 24 hours!

They have now raised over £1000 for Talk Stick which is incredible and the donations are continuing to come in throughout the day. Help the boys through the night and if you can support and donate even a small amount to help them continuing raise money.

Another fundraising event from two amazing young lads for Talk Stick! Smash it out the park boys, we are all behind you at talk stick, as are all our followers 🧡

Please if you can take your time to visit their Go Fund Me page as they raise money for Talk Stick to support men’s mental health and ensure support is in place for our hockey lads 🧡

This is another touching story as Oscar is Spalding Hockey Clubs men’s 1s Goalkeeper where Talk Stick all started 🧡

Hi! We are Oscar and Oli and due to recent circumstances we have become more aware of the importance of men’s mental health and we are determined to help spread the goals of talk stick which is to deliver a roadshow of men’s mental health and suicide prevention info and awareness sessions across hockey clubs in Lincolnshire. We chose talk stick due to the moving story of its creation and its involvement in hockey- a sport that we love and based on our personal experience . We also love a challenge, and are excited to do it whilst supporting a very good cause. The money raised will be used to provide vital support for more hockey clubs across Lincolnshire. The event will take place on 28th October 2025 and will involve 60 km of walking across the 24 hours, a form of exercise we have found incredibly useful to support wellbeing and positive mental health.
