Talk Stick, managed by Tonic Health, has secured support through the Shine Lincolnshire Su***de Prevention Strategy Grant to deliver a roadshow of men’s mental health information and awareness sessions across hockey clubs in Lincolnshire throughout 2025.

Followers, friends we need your help!!!

We are nearly a year into the project “Talk Stick”. When we started this project we did not expect the response, kindness and support of everyone for what Talk Stick stands for.

We have done so much in our time as a project and we are slowing down or stopping! We have more plans in 2026 and continue to aim to “break the silence” to ensure no more loved ones are lost in the hockey community.

As with any project, we rely heavily on donations and funding to run. Our funders want to hear from Talk Stick and the people that support our project!

So please…it will take 5mins of your evening can you fill in this short survey!

You do not have had to attend a Talk Stick session to complete this survey you could be a friend, a family member, just follow our story or have bought a t shirt!

Talk Stick are on the road for another mental health awareness session.

We are BACK in AlFORD and this time ANYONE is welcoming to join. So Alford HC spread the word and let’s unite together to support mental health and be there for one another. No one is ever alone.

Talk stick would like to say a huge thanks to Alford HC for trialing a new session where anyone can come and join. Mental health can affect anyone, anywhere and at anytime. By now uniting a whole hockey club together as one we hope will give an opportunity to “break the silence”

Thank you to Bro Pro UK for again, providing and supporting our session for the evening!

Please spread the word, come along even to say hello and break down them barriers!

We would love to know the impact Talk Stick has made! Please if any of followers or if you have ever attended a session want to give feedback of our project please read this post.

We of course know how tough the subject of su***de is and men’s mental health but as it is vital with funding and support going forward if anyone can take time out to support the university with feedback of our service it would be truly appreciated 🧡

Our brand new ‘Talk Stick' T shirts AND Hoodies are now available to order. Here are Sam and David showcasing off our new range 🧡

We are so excited to share the next phase of our clothing line as we continue to raise funds for our project.

Wrap up warm for the winter with our hoodies and get an extra training t shirt as we continue on working to break the silence on men's mental health in the hockey community.

Making any donation will help support the ongoing work we are trying to achieve, but if you donate £15 or more, you will be rewarded with your very own shirt.

Additionally if you want a hoodie we ask for a donation of £23.

On our crowdfunding page it now includes the hoodies and the white shirt as an option. Press donate on our page and the options will appear.

🚨🚨We will be collating orders, so LAST ORDER DATE IS SUNDAY 30TH NOVEMBER if you want it in time for Christmas.

We are aiming to raise funds further as our next step is to take Talk Stick out of Lincolnshire and into different counties
