A beloved husband of Jean, a dearly loved dad of Sharon, Deborah and Nigel, father-in-law of Rob, Andy and Margaret, an adored grandad, great-grandad and a dear brother-in-law and uncle.
Would family and friends please meet at Wear Valley Crematorium, Coundon, on Wednesday 8th April for a service at 10:30am.

On behalf of the family we sadly announce the funeral arrangements for the late Kevin McCormick (of Spennymoor). A much loved brother of Austin and Teresa, brother in law of Jennifer, Derek and John. Kevin was a much loved uncle to all his nieces and nephews. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to St. Charles RC Church. Would friends and family please meet for a service at 10am on Thursday 9th April, 2026 at St. Charles RC Church, Tudhoe followed by interment at York Hill Cemetery, Spennymoor. Everyone is welcome back to The Black Horse, Tudhoe to celebrate Kevin’s life.

A couple of weeks ago Lesley our Funeral Director and Kelly our ADM visited a careers day Whitworth Park Academy , the day was fun and they got to meet lots of young children, some who were very interested in a career in the funeral industry.
Lesley particularly enjoyed explaining to the students about her favourite part of the role, while Kelly loved explaining about all of the different career options within the Funeral Industry.
The students got to try on uniform and gain a better understanding of what it takes to work in the industry, it was a privilege to be invited too, thanks again Whitworth Park Academy
