Peacefully on the 23rd of January 2026, aged 95 years. Elizabeth, beloved wife of the late Billy, much loved Mam of Colin, Julie and Brian and mother-in-law to Maggie, the late Steve and Margaret. A cherished grandma and great grandma and a dear friend to many who will be sadly missed. Funeral service to take place on Monday 16th February 2026, 12pm at St. Joseph’s Church, Coundon. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if so desired, to Dementia UK. A donation box will be provided at the church.

On behalf of the family, we sadly announce the funeral arrangements for the late John Gordon Kelly, of Spennymoor. Peacefully on the 19th of January 2026, after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family, aged 94 years. John (Jack), beloved husband of the late Catherine, much loved dad of Paul, Theresa, Joanne, Julia, Ian, Pamela, and Mark. Cherished grandad of eleven and a good friend to many who will be sadly missed. Funeral service to take place on Thursday 12th February 2026, 12pm at St. Charles RC Church, Tudhoe. Last week a ceremony took place to celebrate the Installation of the Miner's Lamp Sculpture in Ferryhill. Funeral director Mr Adam Trees attended the ceremony, he said “ it’s a marvellous sculpture and it is a fitting tribute to Ferryhill's Mining Heritage. A much loved mam of Neil, Ian, Deb and Carol, mother in law of Caroline, Glenn and Michael. On behalf of the family we sadly announce the funeral arrangements for the late Cameron Lawrence Hollingsworth.

They would like to invite everyone who knew and loved Cameron to come and say a final goodbye on Tuesday 10th February at Durham Crematorium for a service at 1:00pm. Cameron would want you to wear what ever you felt comfortable in.

After the service we will be celebrating Cameron's life together at Chester Le Street cricket club, Ropery Lane.

At the family's request, family flowers only, donations will be to the Great North Air Ambulance and there will be a collection box at the cricket club.
