I'm back!! Seems like the longest brake I've taken in such a long time, but I'll be honest I was so ready for it. But, im back and can't wait to Welcome the first clients of 2026 this morning to kick off what I hope is another successful year ahead. I look forward to welcoming you to the clinic soon.

Reminder...

As of today, ALL bookings are subject to a 50% deposit to secure your appointment. Deposits are payable direct to our bank account or in clinic via card or cash.

Any appointments which cancel with less than 24hrs notice or clients who fail to turn up for an appointment will forfeit the deposit.

Amy Lambley ISRM - Soft Tissue Therapy reserves the right to use their judgement where it is believed that there has been a genuine and unavoidable reason for 'no-show' or short notice cancellation. In this instance, your deposit may be transferred to an alternative date or refunded. If you believe you fall into this category then please just speak to me to discuss.

Please note that all clients are responsible for diarising their appointments and setting up their own reminders for bookings. Amy Lambley ISRM - Soft Tissue Therapy does not offer a reminder service for your bookings at this time.

Well, here we are, the last working day of 2025!

Thank you all so much for your custom and support this year. It's certainly been a busy one, and im very grateful for that.

2025 saw the introduction of manual lymphatic drainage to the clinic, which has proven to be a valuable addition and one that I aim to push further in the new year. This is where I wanted to be now with the services offered, and the aim for next year is now to grow my knowledge in those areas and be the best I can be within those specialities.

Those of you who have known me for a while will have realised I love to learn and I thank you all for teaching me along the way and sharing your stories with me.

Here's to 2026. I wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy new year.

I will be back from 5th January. See you there x

**Notice of Christmas closure**

As we rapidly head towards Christmas please note the dates below where I will be taking a short break.

Please get your final appointments of 2025 booked in to avoid disappointment.

The 2026 diary is open for booking. **Please note from January 2026 ALL bookings will be subject to 50% deposit to secure your booking. The deposit is non-refundable in the event of missed appointments of cancellation within 24hrs of your appointment. **IMPORTANT NOTICE**

For clients who have been using the Finbogo booking system you will know this new system has been somewhat challenging, to say the least! I have received an email today that the system is 'taking a break' and won't be in use from the end of December. Im taking the decision to cease use with immediate effect and export all data currently stored on the system. Please rest assured all data is safe and I will look for an alternative system in the new year. In the meantime, I will go back to my good old paper diary (I continued to do this anyway, luckily).

This has been a disappointing outcome for a system that promised good things. I continued to give the benefit of the doubt in the face of 'teething problems', but this development has confirmed the problems are more significant than I was lead to believe.

So as per 'the old way'...Just drop me a call or message and I'll get you booked in as before.

Please note that this means the reminders will no longer be available and all customers are responsible for arriving on time for booked appointments.

Today I am highlighting the wonderful education from Emma Holly and the Restore Scar Therapy team who are leading the way in spreading the message that scars and the potentially negative symptoms resulting from scar tissue development can be helped! All patients with scarring, whether that be from burns, trauma or surgery, should be aware of how they can take care of their scars from day one and how scar tissue therapy can help monitor and minimise and negative impact as well as improve symptoms if things have already become problematic.

If anybody local can make use of out of date first aid supplies inc. Triangular bandages and dressings then you are welcome to collect. They are new and unopened so may be perfectly adequate for first aid practice such as scouts/brownies etc.? As above they are out of date so not suitable for use in a medical situation. Im baffled as to how a triangular bandage can be out of date but there we are 🤷‍♀️. Im replenishing my clinic kit so please give me a yell if you'd like them.
