Broccoli, cauliflower, kale, radish and brussels sprouts all belong to the cruciferous family of vegetables. This family vegetables have special properties that can help female reproductive health. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Not only are they high in fibre and a good source of vitamin C, but they are also packed with special sulfur-rich compounds that have been found to reduce the risk of breast cancer.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A diet rich in cruciferous vegetables has been shown to reduce the likelihood of breast, colon and pancreatic cancer. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Is it the fibre? Is it their antioxidant capacity & ability to protect from specific DNA damage? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

As a women's health and fertility nutritionist, I find that people open up about all aspects of their life, including s*x life in our consultations. This is why I am completing my MSc in S*xual & Reproductive Medicine. I didn't feel like I had the skills to effectively give my patients the answers and options they desperately needed. Thanks to these studies and my experienced and kind OB/GYN colleagues who are willing to share their knowledge and experience & my lovely patients I can feel that my ability to help is increasing.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

For those of us suffering another quarantine lock-down, stewed and baked fruit is how we keep up with our fruit requirements when we are only allowed to shop once a week. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
