We visited Little Leverets Forest School yesterday and the children had the best time learning and exploring outdoors. They used tools, experimented with natural paints, enjoyed the swings—and even put me to work rocking them in a hammock!

So many smiles, we worked on turn-taking, teamwork, and confidence building throughout the session. And of course, no outdoor adventure would be complete without lots of joyful puddle-jumping on the way home 💦✨

Two years ago, on my birthday, I opened Popsy Doodle Childminding 🎉
It has been one of the best working decisions I’ve ever made. Leaving the classroom physically was easy, but leaving the joy of teaching young minds wasn’t — so childminding turned out to be the perfect choice.

I am so lucky to have the most wonderful families, beautiful children, and such supportive childminder and nanny friends.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported me over the past two years — here’s to many more years ahead! ✨

Snow Day!! Maybe unpopular opinion - I wish there was MORE!

It’s wonderful to reflect that, for many of the Popsy Doodles, today’s snowfall marked their very first experience of snow! We had a great time exploring and enjoyed a walk this afternoon leaving our footprints and making marks in the snow ❄️

The Popsy Doodles visited Wimpole Hall to do their “Roast Dinner” trail! We explored the garden finding different herbs to smell and the different veggies that we would eat with a Christmas meal. We then visited the farm and enjoyed looking at the animals (pigs in blanket, roast beef) we absolutely loved finding all the Christmassy things that are on their Christmas lights trail too!
